I am thankful for ~
~ My healthy mom
~ The rain that is falling – still! (it’s been about 36hrs of rain)
~ My new broom! (it’s the little things, right?)
~ New athletic shoes – my toes have been cold in sandals lately
~ Friends and Family :) Yes, that includes you!

Last week at temple (it was the Jewish New Year) I took Jake to the children’s service. The rabbi asked all of the kids to say something they were thankful for. I loved hearing their answer. One boy said he was thankful for having legs so that he could run. Jake said he was thankful for his life. What else can I say?

Thankful for life. I would say that in a word, life, is the sum of all blessings. Live it well.
