That’s my post tally — 400! They add up SO fast – let’s celebrate with a giveaway! A set of 8 Meadowsweet Fat Quarters has been donated by Quilted Treasures! I love the colors and beautiful prints in this line! You may have the group shown or pick your favorites from what they have in stock. Many, many thanks to Kristina for making this happen!

Thanks to all of YOU – you make me want to blog and share my family and projects here with you! Thank you for spreading the word and making the Blogger’s Quilt Festival such an amazing success, and for making this little space in blogland, a fun place to be! There’s so much more to come, and I’m excited to see what is in store!

Enough mushy stuff, to win:
- leave me a comment! Something interesting – like your favorite fabric line in Quilted Treasures Shop, your lunch plans, how many more presents you have to wrap, or whatever you are working on, I won’t tell your secrets.
- become a follower or reader subscriber, and leave a comment letting me know.
- tweet me about the giveaway, and leave a comment letting me know.
- and you can post on your blog, for an extra 3 chances – just leave me a comment to let me know :)

Do 1 or all 4! it’s up to you, I will select a winner (via RNG) on Monday, December 21.

Many blessings to you~
Amy

  1. Today is the day I get out all the presents that I've acquired throughout the year and determine who has enough, who still needs a wee bit more, and who has too many and needs some tucked away for the next birthday :)

  2. No sewing for me today – I have a student who is defending her thesis this morning, and a wonderful lunch is planned for afterwards. I sure would appreciate those gorgeous Meadowsweet FQs!

  3. Congratulations Amy! 400 posts – that is amazing! I have so enjoyed getting to know you through our blogs, so this is cause for celebration. I just finished wrapping up several boxes of handmade goodies to send to some of my blogger friends. And now I'm making a scarf and two Christmasy quilts – what fun!

  4. Wow, 400 posts and over 450 followers, good for you. Stop by mine and see what I have been doing kaye-NanaBfollowsNanaT.blogspot.com. I love the material you are featuring. Thanks

  5. Congratulations on the 400th post, and Merry Christmas! I'm already a subscriber/follower, so maybe that will be good for an entry?

  6. Today my husband and I get to go to Koln, Germany, to see the Paul McCartney concert! Thanks to the USO and some great friends we have FABULOUS seats!

  7. YAY for 400!

Mmmm, I like the fat quarter giveaway fabrics, but also think her Meadowsweet Peach is pretty. And the Animal Party fabric would be fun to do in a little boys quilt :-)

Lunch will be PBJ…I've wrapped NO presents yet and am NOT done shopping so I will be busy next week…and my project to come is a granddaughter's quilt which I'd love to figure out applique so I'm going to play for awhile with it.

Enjoy your day, Amy! Stay warm!

    Blessings,
    Tammy ~@~

  8. Congrats on the 400th post!

I only have one present left to wrap! It's a tie I made last night out of Amy Butlers Lotus polka dot print. It is my first tie and I LOVE IT! Hopefully the recipient will love it just as much!

  9. Congrats n the 400th post. I have been following you for quite awhile now and I like reading your blog. Today my hubby is taking me to look at a quilting frame and a Janome 1600 machine that is for sale. I am excited about it. My LQS alerted me to this machine so I know it would be a good one to get. We shall see. Fingers crossed!

  10. First, thanks for the opportunity; and, second THE MOST EXCITING thing for me the birth of my grandson, Gabriel, December 15, 2009!

I love all the fabrics. Close your eyes and point and that would be my favorite.

  32. 400 blogs now that is dedication. I have enjoyed readying your blog for about 6 months now. You are ambitious. Today I am off to my one and only Christmas get together for the staff I work with, a breakfast before we have to clean up the preschool. It will be nice to see them all again. I am also looking forward to having no kids activities for 2 weeks, think I will hibernate! Have a good one!

  33. Congratulations on post 400! We are sure glad you have made it this far, and hope to see you for years to come.

Something interesting … I am in the middle of a move 3 states away. My husband has been in NC for 6 weeks and will be back here in FL for a few days next week to celebrate Christmas, pack the truck with what remains, and take me with him to NC.

Christmas this year is bare bones. No trappings and fluff. All about family and being together and the reason for our celebration.

    Let the party begin!

  34. Congratulations on reaching your 400th post! I have been subscribed to your blog for several months now (which is how I discovered this giveaway). LOVE Meadowsweet…but I must admit my most favorite designer is Anna Maria Horner. Christmas came way too fast this year…I am still mailing gifts, wrapping gifts…and finishing the binding on a table runner. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

  35. Congratulations on Post#400! Keep up the good work! I haven't wrapped any presents, still have more shopping and sewing to do and am at work…It'll all get done somehow….

  36. Congratulations Amy! And thank-you for all you to in coralling us bloggers.

Not much interesting going on, but I will share a funny gift we bought for our Monster. She has control issues when it comes to pooping, so one of her Christmas presents is a poo journal, complete with spots for sketches and notes. So, so sad, but it makes us laugh.

  37. Congratulations Amy! And thank-you for all you to in coralling us bloggers.

  39. Only 9 days left and I still have 90% of my shopping to do. Nothing like waiting 'till the last week. I'm getting a bit stressed out, but it's my own fault…

  40. 400!! I would love to win some more fabric…I will never have enough. I've got presents to wrap, cards to send, and won't be doing any of that this morning, because I have friends coming over to sew!

  41. Wow Congrats Amy!! :)
I definitely want to enter your giveaway!
Yesterday I started wrapping. Pulling everything out, and trying to figure out where I'm at, and what I'm missing. Good ole memory isn't what it used to be and I came up REALLY short for one of my children. Woops! So I need to go shopping today just for her, and then finish all the wrapping.
Here's a little secret… we wrap Santa gifts in his own special wrapping paper (and after 18 years and 6 rolls we are now OUT! Ack!! Gotta try to find something similar!) Cuz kids notice those things! LOL!!

  42. 400! Congratulations!! I am being a slug! :-o Haven't been to my sewing machine in 2 days!! :-o Maybe some new fabric would inspire me LOL

  43. Congratulations on the big 400! Great giveaway. I am still plugging along, not finished with shopping or making things….. and to top it off, we have repair men coming on Monday to replace all of our AC duct work :-( Talk about adding stress!!!
    Merry Christmas :-)

  44. 400! Congrats! I'm more than half way there myself! Today, I should be grading, instead I'm making house ornaments…priorities you know!

  45. What a great give away! and thank YOu for hostimg the bloggers quilt festival, it's such a great
    idea!!
I haven' wrapped a single present yet, and I still need to buy some!

  46. Thank you for 400 great posts! *grin* No spectacular lunch plans, but I am decorating Christmas sugar cookies with my family tonight. And hoping to get a little sewing in on a Bento Box table runner for my mum.

I blogged about your giveaway — so at least two others will read the news. ;o)

    http://adayinmay.blogspot.com/2009/12/trouble-shooting.html

I've enjoyed reading your blog over this last year — and seeing all your projects come together. Thanks, too, for organizing the Blogger's Quilt Festival. I was a first-timer this fall and am looking forward to participating in 2010!

  47. Congrats! I'm still trying to get to 50 posts! I still have a mountain of presents to finish for Christmas but am procrastinating here!! I wouldn't have it any other way!

  48. I'm enjoying a treat today of a Tiramisu Latte from the local coffee shop. It's a latte flavored with tiramisu syrup. which I really don't get — tiramisu is just flavored with espresso!

    I love Meadowsweet!

  49. The fabric is great! I still have more Christmas presents to make, tablerunners, fabric baskets and a throw quilt. Thanks for the chance.

  50. Congratulations on your 400th post. Wow. I am in awe. Today I am 'off' and home to finish writing cards, to wrap gifts, to and plan the menus for my 12 family members who will be here over the long weekend. I might even treat myself to a few minutes at my sewing machine. Thanks for the giveaway!

  51. I'm already a subscriber. Love reading the blog. Congrats on the 400th post.

I'm handpiecing some leaf blocks. All of my fabric and stuff has not yet been unpacked from our recent move. Can't find sewing machine feet or cord, so it's handwork for me….

  52. Today the husband and child and I are headed up to Olympia to the best toy shop this side of the Cascades! It's a tradition to go there sometime before Christmas and get loads of stocking stuffers and test out all the toys!

  53. Congrats on 400 posts! And I'm a big fan of Quilted Treasures – my new favorite shop because they have fat quarters! I ordered some authentic FQs already, so next on my list is Hushabye (before it disappears!)…but really, I would like anything there. :)

  54. Congrats on the big milestone! As for Christmas, I am almost done which is good since Christmas for me will be this Sunday. Christmas Day is going to be a lovely quite sewing or reading day for me this year.

  55. I love that you're having a giveaway, the fabrics are lovely. Congratulations on 400 great posts, roll on the next 400, Happy Christmas, love Lis x

  56. Quilted Treasures is such a cute shop – fun fabrics and patterns. Thanks for making the giveaway possible.

Today I'm working on a ballet skirt for oldest daughter who teaches ballet.

  57. Good Morning Amy.

I am now one of your followers at Twitter.
Not very interesting, but then neither am I.

  59. Congratulations Amy on your 400th post. I love your blog. You do an amazing job with the Blogger's Quilt Festival as well. Love it. My lunch plans today are not that exciting. If you had asked me yesterday, I could have told you I was meeting friends for coffee and lunch to celebrate the Christmas holidays early. Today I am hoping to address and mail my Christmas cards. Thanks for the giveaway. Merry Christmas!!

  60. Congrats on 400 posts. I have not even begun to wrap presents. Naughty I know. I'm going to my guild Christmas party for lunch should be lots of fun.

  61. Congrats! I'm only up to 200! I am currently working on a birthday crown for my daughter. It's her birthday today (2) but we're celebrating tomorrow! I'm making a dinner of all her favorite foods: scrambled eggs, whole apples (she gets very angry if you cut them!) waffles and candy.

  62. Congrats on this big milestone… YAY 400!

I'm working on my third quilt ever…I'm doing my second try at free-motion quilting and I gotta say it looks pretty good for a beginner. I can't wait to give this to my niece….

Pick me, oh great RNG… pick me!

  63. I am in love with Meadowsweet! I am just going to get ready so that I can take my daughter to gymnastics then drop her off at Grandma's so that I can go work in my son's class for his holiday party. Then we are making Smores Bark after school. Never a dull moment! : ) Thanks for the giveaway, I love your blog! I am a follower on blogger too!

  67. All my gifts had to be shipped out by the first weekend in December to make sure they arrived on time, so I'm now making myself a new pair of pants to take on our trip to Vietnam. We leave Jan. 1!

  68. Hi Amy, 400th!!! that is a-ma-zing!! great and keep up the good work!

I had a look in the quilted treasures shop and my favourites are meadowsweet peach and simple abundance.

I am busy trying to assemble parcels to get them out before christmas… who would have known it would take me soooooo long!!

  69. I have all but two gifts wrap. And two to buy. At the moment I have a daughter driving me nut maybe I'll just wrap her up and stick her under the tree.

Congrats on the 400 posts. My blog is so far behind that its not even funny. I think I have 4 followers it doesnt help i've been so busy working I haven't posted since Thanksgiving. have a nice Christmas

  70. *swoon* I heart meadow sweet! I reeheeheeally need to add some to my stash. I just need to be extra good for a little while since we've spent a bit on Christmas.

Which reminds me that I still need to make pajama bottoms for every one!

  71. wow 137 comments that is awesome.
I live in Utah and love your blog as you are so close to me. It is fun to hear about people who love to quilt and craft here in Utah.
I have just started quilting about one year ago and am still very new to it but it is so creative that I love it. I love your blog and follow it everyday. Good luck deciding on a winner for your giveaway.

  72. Today's a work day for me, 1-8 at B&N. This morning I'm working on a quilt back. Before work I'm stopping a the JoAnn's to see if they have rotary blades back in stock, so I can use my 40% off coupon. Then a Turkey Burger for lunch, before work.

  73. Congratulations Amy! I love reading your blog. Right now I am working on my pinwheel baby quilt. I am making it up as I go along. It is going well, but absolutely has to be done by Christmas.

  74. I have just made my 4ft tall cherry tomato plant into our Christmas Tree!:) And I just made my first quilted postcard….man was that fun working on something so small!!

Shopping is done…just need a few stocking stuffers! Yippee!!

    Congrats on your 400th!!:)

  75. I can't even imagine 400, that's amazing!

I am a wrapping procrastinator, it's my least fav thing to do so I have ALL my presents left to wrap.

  76. I have followed your blog now for quite sometime and am so thrilled for you 400th post.

I've never seen these fabrics before, they are stunning. Thank you for the link.

  77. I am sitting folding my new stash of Park Slope fabric that I just got from my LQS ON SALE! Oh I love sales :) Now I have to go wake up my baby and go to work…Yuck!

  78. My lunch plans are probably fast food with my kids while I shuttle them between doctor's appointments. Good times!

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  79. Since you left the subject matter so open-I'll make a pitch to cheer for the Univ of Hawaii Women's Volleyball team against big bad unbeaten Penn State tonite in the Final Four tournament!

  80. Congrats on #400. I'm about to eat some salad for lunch and try and write a paper…or a few pages of the paper. It's that end-of-semester rush time which means no sewing until the work is done.

  81. congratulations on your 400th post and thank you for your hard work of organising the online quilt festivals, which I love!

today I was very angry at my sewing machine until the mechanic came to fix it for the second time in 3 days, and he showed me how to lower the lower feed dogs, a feature I had no idea that my machine can do – so since then I can only be angry at myself for having suffered for days with no success at stippling… :-)
otherwise I spent the day working, so that from next week I can concentrate on Christmas preparations only. I had a bowl of Scottish "soup of the day" out of the freezer, went to see my daughter in kindergarten at their Christmas celebration where she would not participate and kept crying, and now I'll have a cup of tea to calm myself :-)
    Kristina

  82. It's 4:30am Melbourne time.
    And I'm up blogging!!!
That's my bit of info for you.
I am an insomniac and a compulsive blog reader.
    Love your blog!!
    Andi :-)

  83. Congrats on 400 posts! I'm alll done with shopping, almost done with wrapping, and almost done with sewing projects for Christmas. Just a few things left to finish…pencil rolls and a doll quilt. Thanks for the great giveaway. I am loving Meadowsweet!!

    P.S. I am a subscriber on Bloglines

  84. Congrats! So fun! I think that I have officially finished making my LAST homemade Christmas gift! I made 11 this year (this includes 3 full sized-quilts…it was a lot of work!). But, I'm so happy to be going less consumer this year. It's great. Hope I win!

    Sarah @ http://comeandseetheseitz.com

  85. Hi Amy!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and helping me decide. I think I will go with your suggestion :)

Congrats on 400 posts!! That's amazing.

    Jaclyn

  86. Congrats on the 400th post! I am working on 3 quilts for my boys. They will be Christmas gifts. I have the binding sewn to the front of 2 and will be adding it to the 3rd today. Bet you can guess what I will be doing ALL weekend :)

  87. Since I'm on a roll with your giveaways….I'm diving in to this one too!
While the hushabye line would be great for baby blankets, I'm smitten with that Michael Miller "owl" fabric. Way too cute!!
I am waiting to wrap my Christmas gifts until the girls go to my parents house for three days. Just seems easier but it is stressing me out a bit that they are hiding under a blanket in the garage. I have clever girls and I just KNOW they could find them if they wanted to….

  88. To be perfectly honest, I hadn't even thought about lunch until you mentioned it. I was plotting out dinner. Go figure! :) Have a great day, lady. :)

  89. Yay congrats on 400! I'm 2 posts away from that but I'm not together enough to plan a giveaway lol Christmas = busy! Still finishing up commissioned quilts!! And let's not get into unwrapped pressies… yikes! heehee!

  90. Wow – what a great giveaway!
Something interesting…we've already wrapped and unwrapped our presents for St. Nicholas day. On Christmas we celebrate Christs birth with friends and family and have a wonderful dinner!

  91. You're already in my reader!

I have one more present to buy for hubby, and then I think we are set. Tomorrow is the day for braving the store with the kiddos, though.

  92. Congrats on #400 – and I'm working on a Pretty Ditty apron for my sister right now with some Hope Valley fabrics…and making gingersnap caramel sandwich cookies today.

  93. I love Sandi Henderson's fabric lines, all of them. I just made some sweet Ginger Blossom pillows (posted in my blog) AND I'm one of your followers!!

  94. Congrats on 400! Wow, that's a lot! I'm hoping to finish a Christmas wall hanging for my Dad and maybe even get a quilt basted together ready for quilting – still lots to do before the 24th! – Marlene

  95. Meadowsweet is definitely on the Christmas list this year!! My husband has been working so hard lately, that I picked up a döner for my husband for lunch today and brought it to him at work.

  96. Amy!
Congratulations on 400 posts! Those fabrics are fabulous, a great prize for a giveaway! I quite enjoy reading your blog, it's nice to read about another busy mom who makes time for fabric in her life. Merry Christmas to you and your fam!!

PS I have you in my reader, and I tweeted about your contest too! :)

  97. i finally found dd's gift today. yay! who knew it was so hard to find a toy vacuum?

congrats on 400. your blog is always fun to check out.

  98. I'm busy finishing off making my christmas presents and binding quilts to give to my children. You can never have too many quilts my children tell me. I don't wrap presents, we made Christmas bags and each person in our extended family has one. Then anyone who wants to can pop a present in someone's bag (they are not too big) and not have to worry about if it's too big or too little, it's just part of the bag of little things. It's so much fun and makes Christmas so easy for all of us. Plus it's heaps of fun to get your bag on Christmas day and look at all the little surprises in there.

  99. This weekend I have to wrap everything! My closet is full of unwrapped gifts and stocking stuffers. My golden retriever has already liberated some chocolates for me–guess I need to do some re-shopping.

  100. I still have everything to wrap. I'm not worried though, I have 8 days, I may just wrap most on Christmas eve, it's kind of fun that way.

  101. I haven't wrapped a thing! I use to let my youngest daughter do all the wrapping…she's at college this year, so either I wait, or rush to do it myself! company coming sat (4 grandsons all under 5) and parents. Have a cookie decorating day planned next week!

  102. I finally became a follower. I do have a shortcut on my desktop because I started the zigzag quilt along with you..I have yet to finish it…after the holidays…..after the holidays….those days are already filling up!

  103. I'm trying desparately to finish quilting the top my grandmother made 25 years or so ago, so I can get it in the mail for her Christmas present. About 1/4 left! Then the binding.

  104. Happy 400! That's amazing. I am working on my baby's stocking, and my Christmas quilt, and jammies for the kids for Christmas eve. I'm thinking about a fabric purchase… it's something discontinued that I've wanted for a while and I found a good deal…. just have to decide for sure if I want it!

  105. Congratulations Amy! 400 posts :)!! AMAZING…

I have got a bunch of presents to wrap. I can't stick them under the tree because of little fingers, so am waiting until Christmas Eve to wrap so they don't get crinkled…

I've got one last table runner to bind, and last night I started making a bunch of crayon rolls for the boys little friends at daycare. I've also got to make a library tote for my nephew and a wee gift for their daycare teacher!

Love your blog. Thanks for your continued inspiration! Will you do another recipe swap soon?

    xxx

  106. Happy 400th! You don't look a day over 399!

I finished my wrapping today while listening to the Sounds of the Seasons station on TV. Ruth Ann Olsen was right — Christmas will be coming even if I don't make the bed every day!

  107. Congratulations on hitting 400! I'm a follower and have enjoyed reading your blogs!

My plans for today are a party at work and then finishing up the Christmas cards.

  108. Oh, so pretty! I am currently finishing up my Mum's Christmas gift – a quilt using fabrics from Joel Dewberry's Chestnut Hill collection. I think I have about 10 or so presents left to wrap too.

I'd really love to win, thanks for the chance!

  109. Congrats on hitting 400! My favorite line is the Bundle Includes EIGHT Fat Quarters from the All-Stars Collection by My Mind's Eye for Riley Blake Fabrics! I don't have lunch plans…leftovers probably…have a ton of presents to wrap and am currently just working in getting my house into semi-order! Life is wonderful!

  110. I finished my shopping early, so I felt very relaxed and unhurried. Then, because I felt no pressure, I kind of forgot to get presents in the mail on time. :-) Now I'm rushing to wrap and mail! Good initial planning…poor follow through.

    Congrats on 400 posts!

  111. I started a scarf yesterday for my sister. She will be visiting from out of province. She selected a bright red metallic eyelash yarn. I have one ball knit and three more to go. Fortunately I am using 6mm needles so it goes quickly.

Congrats on your 400 posts. Wow.

    Already a follower.

  112. Wow, quilted treasures sure has some CUTE quilt kits. I love their (original pattern) robots kit–what fun!
Today I have graded 20 finals, then made puppy chow and a dessert for our departmental potluck. When I am done procrastinating, I'm going to work on my mom's Christmas quilt!
    I'm going, I'm going…
    Congrats on 400!
Thanks for the creative inspiration & keep it comin'!

  113. OMG–I'm trying to finish quilting my oldredbarnquiltalong project. I want to surprise my sister but I don't think I'll make it. I'm having surgery on the 21st and I'm trying to finish it by the 20th!!! Yikes–it may have to be a 3 Kings Day gift…LOL

  114. 400….it happens so fast doesn't it?

My most favorite fabric is By MICHAEL MILLER Fat Quarter Bundle BOLDS. I love the owels and the blacks and greens.

I can't believe you are having another giveaway so soon. You love to work :) And I'm sooooo glad.

    Smiles,
    Kelly

  115. I am in love with the whole Meadowsweet line – so gorgeous! As for wrapping presents – nope not done yet. But I did wrap presents for hubby's work Yankee swap. He thought it would be funny to wrap them in Hannah Montana and HSM wrapping paper and use duck tape. So I did! Funny man…

  116. Something interesting….a secret….and you will keep it? Ok….hmmmm…..I once took the teachers papers off her desk when a substitute teacher was there to cover up the fact I had skiped class. Guilty as charged. Yikes….now don't tell a soul ya hear?

    Devilish Smiles,
    Kelly

  117. Congrats on 400!!! I love Meadowsweet! And as far as Christmas…I'm way behind…one box is getting shipped today…but I have lots left to make!

  118. Congratulations Amy. Actually your first quilters festival got me thinking about starting my own blog so I could participate and eventually I did. There are so many great quilty things going on in blogland. Its been a great outlet for me seeing as I can no longer make it to my old quilting group anymore. You write a lovely blog and should be proud of it. I have you in my Google Reader.
I had a look over at the shop and spotted some 'all stars flannel' pack in red and blue. I immediately thought of my son. Its hard to get great boys fabrics. I am spending today getting ready for a two week holiday at my parents house. I really don't like this prepartion part. But it means all shopping done and everything wrapped. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

  119. Congratulations!!
Meadowsweet actually is my fav:-) I've been dying to get my hands on some since it came out!

    I'm a slacker- I haven't wrapped anything yet. I don't even have the wrapping paper!LOL
At least I do have most of the gifts I needed on my list. Just a few more things and I'll prob get to wrapping this weekend:-)

  120. Well I think I am going crazy from all the non preholiday stress and have been posting wacky pictures and videos all over. LOL I love the Hushabye fat quarter bundles and I have favorited them LOL.

  121. This year my son is not able to come home for the holidays, so we sent him a box of Christmas. It was so much fun to put together. a small tree, tree skirt, ornaments, candy, packages, stocking stuffers, and as is our tradition, beef jerky. We will miss him being here, but it makes me feel better knowing he will have some holiday magic around him.

  122. Congratulations on your 400th post. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite line – I've always been a fan of "Kiwi", but "Meadowsweet" and "Lizzy Dish" are fab, too. I had pizza for lunch, when I should have been making a quick run to pick up some gifts – I'm so behind, it's not even funny! Have a very Merry Christmas, and keep up the great work!

  123. Hi. Congrats on the 400th. Thanks for the great giveaway. I just sent out a quilted wallhanging to my fellow workers for helping me this year while I dealt with cancer surgery and chemotherapy.
My co-workers are attorneys. Most people Hiss when they hear that word. But these folks are wonderful. They cooked for my family, they donated money to help send my 6y/o to Camp Kesem – a camp for kids with parents with cancer. I hope to win.cindy

  124. My exciting news is we are heading to Austin, TX for Christmas. Our eldest has moved there so we'll be on the look out for some used furniture we can give some TLC to. Congrats on 400~ I'll have to dream about which fabrics to choose if I win!

  125. Congrats! I hope to get that far someday! About 5 minutes ago I just finished my "business" sewing – hopefully for the year!! I sent out 168 quillows into the world this year and many of them will be opened as Christmas presents – wierd to think about that! My husband has been a real doll by picking up a needle and floss and helping me tie over 20 quillows just in the past week and a half! I am truly blessed! Now that I am done with my "have-to" sewing, it would be so nice to have some "fun" sewing to day and those fat quarters would be perfect! Thanks for the opportunity to win! Merry Christmas!!

  126. Congratulations on 400 posts Amy! Love Meadowsweet and would truely love to have those in you pic :o) Today I have cleared the spare room of all the debris that collected through the summer, cleaned and made ready for Christmas guest. Sorted fabrics and relocated, as well as books and 31 quilts. Still have laundry to do. All the wrapping is done, I just have to buy 2 bottles of wine for my neighbours and I'm done!

I've been a follower for some time. Merry Christmas Amy and congrats again!

  127. I love those fabrics, I don't think I've seen them yet!
My comment is about how challenging it is this year getting up to speed with Xmas. I made a pact with myself to spend little $$ and only make things that already exist in scrap/pattern form in my studio. To date, I have only one of three quilts done, and none of the 5 mini bags done. And to top it all off, today I spend $200 on gifts. Crap! I wanted to create all my own gifts. Oh well… all those projects aren't going anywhere, I'll get to them eventually, right?

Keep up the good work. You are my hero.

  128. This is Fantastic! I am completely and utterly in love with this fabric! As for how many gifts I have left to wrap.. lets say all of them. I havent wrapped a thing. As of this morning I just realized that there was only 8 days till xmas and I still have a few gifts to make so Im slightly stressed about it. Good thing I'm on here instead of getting my things done hu? hahaha.. :)

  129. Had the best lunch today at Panera – they now serve Vermont White Cheddar Mac and Cheese. It was awesome…

    Love your giveaway…

  130. Congrats on getting to 400 posts! That's a whole lot of writing. I like the ANIMAL PARTY Fat Quarter Bundle. I have most of my presents left to wrap and of course a few left to make! One week to go!

  131. 400- wow! It's going to be a long time before I reach that number. I have about 20 gifts to wrap for Christmas, no biggy, but I am sure I will wait until Christmas Eve! Thanks for the chance to win.

  132. That's alotta' posts, but all interesting and fulfilling to read. I'm already a follower, making up for lost time after spending the summer w/o computer access. I'm visiting San Antonio, TX for Christmas and am making whimsical Christmas stockings for the family I'm staying with and having lots of fun. Recently took Flat Stanley on a tour of the Alamo! http://www.tsflatstanley.blogspot.com

  133. Congratulations on your 400th post! I should be cleaning and getting ready for holiday guests, but have a horrible headache so I am online instead.

I am done shopping and have two pillow cases to make and a quilt to bind.

Happy holidays! Thanks for the opportunity to enter into your drawing.

    Beth

  136. Hey i am doing postsurgery at home and i am wishing it stops hurting so i can make, wrap, buy christmas presents.
Love those oranges and greens, would go great in my orange living room.
We are really hot here in the south, so all my lunches and dinners are fresh.
    Thanks

  137. I just love the colors in that fat quarters set!

I am working on about a billion potholders this year. I got this idea in my head that everyone I knew needed a new set and I was gonna provide them!

  138. congrats on 400 posts! I'm getting ready for my girls night xmas party! Good food, drinks, and friends. What can be better than that? Maybe som meadow sweet?

  139. Amy, I am trying to finish up a quilt for my son's girlfriend . I just have the borders to do but I am having much more fun making an applique block for my vintage valentine quilt.
Thank you for the opportunity to win and happy holidays

  140. Today I am sick! Boo hoo! Been running a fever etc….I managed to wrap about five gifts but my heart (and head) just weren't in it. So, main aim is to get myself better for the 25th!

  141. I've been making and sewing and crafting and painting… Very little under the tree from us is store bought, so winning some of those lovely fabrics would be so very nice!

Thanks for the holiday fun! :o)

  142. Congrats on 400 posts!!!! the fabrics are wonderful, I would love to win them. I have just gotten back to my computer after 2 weeks of it having issues. I got a lot of quilting done, but missed my blogging friends! Have a nice holiday.

  143. Hey Amy, my favorite at Quilted Treasures is SIMPLE ABUNDANCE Fat Quarter Bundle. This would fit in very well with a quilt I have planned. Thanks for the great give away and Happy 400 blogs and many more!!

  144. 400 hundred posts- wow. We had jam sandwiches for lunch. Trying not to go grocery shopping before we head out of town for Christmas!

  145. Interesting (or not)
My least favorite part of Christmas is wrapping presents.
    I have a date with Mr. V tonight (:
I have one last step to finish the girls' bean bag chairs for Christmas and I just…can't….do…. it…….(all the fun part is done!)

  146. I am so happy for you, Amy! Congratulations. You are one of my first quilt blogs I found this summer when I began reading them. Before this summer I had made a total of 2 quilts. Now, I have made 5, 4 of which I am giving for Christmas and 1 for a wedding gift. One of them goes to my grandson. What a wonderful, rewarding art form. And what wonderful people quilters are! :)

  147. Congrats on the big 4-0-0!!

I just love the Apple fat quarters at shopquiltedtreasures! The colors and prints are adorable.

I have wrapped some gifts…. have gift cards that I have to figure out how to wrap. Probably in gift bags?

Wrapping is my least favorite part.

Thanks for the great give away!

    SheilaC

  148. Congratulations on 400 posts!! What a great accomplishment. I have been following your blog for a few months now, and always look forward to seeing your beautiful work! :)
Today I'm working on a dress for my little girl to wear for a Christmas party. I didn't have a pattern and am just "winging it" for now…. We'll see how it turns out eeeek
I went and looked at the Quilted Treasures shop, and my favorite bundle was definitely the "Apple" fat quarter bundle- sooooo sweet! I also love the one you have pictured :)
    Congratulations again and Merry Christmas!

  149. Congrats on 400! I can only hope to get there myself.

I just became a subscriber a couple of days ago. Does that count?

As far as interesting goes… I'm working on a quilt for a friend, have plans for a wall hanging for my mother-in-law, and have asked only for gift cards to fabric stores this year for X-Mas. Got to feed the addiction somehow, lol!

  150. Lunch plans? Probably hot dogs or something. Not too much, since I'm going out for dinner!

I love the All Star Flannel pack (item #33820975). I'm a mom of four boys, and would love to play with this!

    ltenhage@gmail.com

  151. Fabulous fabric and giveaway – thanks a bunch. I'm stunned that Christmas is just a week away! If anybody is looking for me I'll be in my sewing room trying to get presents done on time!

  152. My goal was to have every bit of shopping, wrapping, decorating, and baking done before my daughter returned home from college. She'll be here in about 12 hours. I'm not done but I'm close!

  153. Hi Amy, Happy 400th.. I just popped over to see what you're up to and you're having a giveaway.. Lucky me..
I love the Peach Meadowsweet grouping.
I just finished 2 dresden plate table toppers for Christmas gifts, yeah I put them in the mail and I'm finished sewing Christmas presents.
    1. I'm already a follower
    2. I'll post about your giveaway in the upper right corner of my blog.
Darn I'm not a tweeter. I have you in my google reader, does that count?? :)

Thanks so much for the chance to win, crossing my fingers and toes too.
    Have a joyous Christmas season.

  154. Wow! 400! I wonder how long it will be before I reach that milestone. I was just looking on the website and Have already forgotten the line of fabrics that I loved. Browns and florals. Had to work today and now I'm starting to crash.

  155. I just finished a set of pot holders using some Meadowsweet. They're meant as a gift, but I've been reluctant to part with them. Now I have the chance to win my own little stack of prettiness! Thanks for the giveaway

  156. Congrats on reaching 400. I am now your 484th follower, good number! I'm presently crocheting one more afghan for a gift. I'm going to piece a solid backing to match the colors in the yarn and attach it with sewn embroidery threads. Like tieing a quilt I guess, although I've not done it myself. Thanks for the giveaway, I love the fabric!

  157. My favorite bundle at QT Etsy shop are the Lizzy Dish bundles. I think they are just neat designs. My favorite gift for Christmas was given the other day. My best bud took me to a spa for a full facial treatment, it was heaven. Neither one of us could walk afterward because we were so relaxed. I highly recommend the experience to every woman!!

  158. Congratulations AMY! It has been fun to watch your blog evolve and grow just since I've known you. I can't wait to see what more lies ahead.

Hmm, I'd have to say that Meadowsweet line is calling to me right now.

  159. The fabrics are wonderful. I started teaching this fall after 30 years of doing other stuff and I haven't been able to sew. (It's a long story and I'm happy.) But I'm optimistic that i will get back to it. And these fabrics might compel me to find the time.

  160. congratulations!!!

I Love your blog. Today was a very happy day for us. Found a zhu zhu car on accident. Need one more so the kids don't fight and all will be perfect.

  161. I haven't wrapped anything yet, or finished sewing up the kids gifts, or finished shopping for all my gifts, or received all the online ones I ordered. How does this holiday creep up so fast?!

  162. Happy 400th!! I would have to say the Meadowsweet Peach Fat Qtr set is my fave in the store. Such pretty fabrics!
Tomorrow for lunch?? Hopefully getting home in time to eat with my kids. I plan to get some cookies started tomorrow and maybe even wrap some presents.

  163. Woohoo!!! Congrats on post #400. Awesome. Can't wait to read many more.

I've been hurrying to finish of my daughter's quilt beofre she comes home from Nana's place tomorrow.

And I sold a quilt today. Yay!

  164. Hi Amy!
I love the All Stars Flannel – it would make a great snuggly quilt for my 4 year old!! I love the fabs you are giving away too!!

  165. The Meadowsweet has all my favorite colors. I know exactly what I would do with these fat quarters. I am also glad that I added you to my reader I am enjoying your blog.

  166. Shhh…I've been doing Christmas shopping but I 'accidentally' keep buying myself things. So far there's been some fabric (of course), a new top and some new jeans. Oops :)

  169. We only have 1 more gift to buy & it's something my hubby is responsible for! I've been done for awhile.

  170. I am busy working on aprons. I am making my daughter who is an art major an apron from Erin Michael Lush Paint-by-number fabric with paint dot fabric pockets. I can't wait until she sees it!

  171. Good Morning, I love reading your blog weather it is about your quilting or stories and pictures of your family. Merry Christmas. Sandi

  172. Congratulations on your 400th post! I don't have a blog but love reading all the quilting blogs. I have one present left to wrap! Yeah!! Thanks for the giveaway.

  173. today I decided that we simply have enough. what few presents we have bought, and the additional budget, are going to the local shelter.

we have each other and we'll spend the afternoon at a movie. we have plenty to be thankful for.

    Anita

  174. 400! Yippee! We come to park city in the summers and LOVE IT! Thats how I found you. I am actually not a quilter, have been SO inspired by you, and your beautiful creations. I finished my first quilt last year! Does that make me a quilter??? I Love the pear grouping. Was actually looking at it last night. I am going to try and make second quilt this year! Thanks for the inspiration! I follow you!

  175. What a great giveaway! What am I working on? Well, I can't tell exactly, but I involves fabric and thread. And I had to take a break this morning when I ran out of bobbin thread in the middle of stitching some words. Sigh . . . Oh, well, I wasn't too crazy about the top thread anyway, so this will prompt be to change that out and start with a FULL bobbin!

    Thanks for doing this!

  176. Congrats! I just finished up all my gifts last night…whew! I am in love with the authentic line at the shop, gotta have it! Congratulations again!!

  177. Great giveaway, Amy! I had never been to Kristina's Etsy shop before — what a great find. And OF COURSE I would love to win some sweet fabric in time for the holidays! My favorite line? I've been a sucker for Lizzy Dish lately, and I see that they have a pretty great selection.

  178. Wow – 400 posts is an awesome milepost! I am making the Christmas PJ's today. 5 pairs for my girls and two little boy pairs for my grandsons, fun times! I am glad no one has told me to give up the tradition, it's really become a favorite part of my holidays and I look for cool flannels starting in the summer.

  179. Congrats on 400! That's awesome! and I'm still working on my Mom's apron… I got half of it cut last night. just need to cut the ties & sash – and sew! shouldn't take too much longer! I'm ready for the mess to be cleaned up though!

  180. Thank you, Amy, for all you do! Today I am finishing up my last customer quilt (longarm), and sewing a quilt, then quilting it for my friend. Then getting my Christmas cards out, wrapping some presents. whew, I am exhausted just posting it all!
    Sharon in Onyx

  185. Hi Amy, Have been following you in my google reader probably since I discovered blogs and yours was one I discovered early on. Your work and your blog in general is very inspirational and I'm not surprised that you have such a following. Organising the quilt festivals each year is such a generous thing to do. Thank you for giving your time to this. I am from New Zealand and we are getting ready for a summery Christmas here. I'm just working on a dress for my eldest daughter to wear on Christmas day then I have a couple of small gifts to do. Not too much stress. I love Christmas and am enjoying all the snowy pictures around blog land. Congratulations on 400 posts!!

  186. 400 posts? Wow! Speaking of 400, here's my secret. I just got home from the train store where we spent $400 on a train set for my son. I feel a little ill and excited all at the same time. Do you think he'll let his sister have his thomas set now? Nah, me either… ;D

  187. 400 posts? Wow! Speaking of 400, here's my secret. I just got home from the train store where we spent $400 on a train set for my son. I feel a little ill and excited all at the same time. Do you think he'll let his sister have his thomas set now? Nah, me either… ;D

  189. My favorite at Quilted Treasures is the Wildwood Collection. I love the colors.

I'm still not finished shopping, but I did about 90% of my shopping online this year. I hope everything arrives in time!

    Congrats on your 400th post!

  190. Amy – Congrats on your 400th post. It is such a job to follow your blog. You do a terrific job.

My current project is a quilt that I am working on with my oldest daughter. She is visiting from Germany and has never quilted. So we are making a quilt with Figgy Pudding fabrics and the Candy Bar Road quilt pattern by SuzGuz Designs. I know this time with her at home is precious so we are making the most of it.

  191. Congrats on Number 400!! You and Amy at Vintage Fern have both hit that milestone within 2 weeks of each other! :) Hope I win the give-away! :)

  192. Congrats….400 is quite the milestone!!

presents left to wrap….i wish i had things to wrap….i still need to do a ton of shopping…so wish me luck!!

  193. Congrats on 400!! I just planned an impromptu Christmas open house to be held in just 4 days. Eek!! Better get to baking. I also have a quilt to quilt & bind and another to bind. No presents have been wrapped, but most of the shopping is complete. Oh, and house guests tonight. Love the fabric! Hope it's for me!!

  194. What a great milestone to hit for your blog! My most exciting news is that I am finished wrapping presents, I"m never done this early!

  195. Congratulations on 400 posts! That's alot! I'm working on about 100 things right now, but I'd like to finish a table runner for my m-i-l's birthday first.

  196. All my kids are finally home so we decorated the tree tonight and I wrapped presents. DH and I made applesauce-cinnamon ornaments, which sure make the house smell great! Please enter me in the drawing. Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family too!!

  197. I really enjoy reading your blog. I check everyday! Right now, most of my baking is done and in the freezer but not the cranberry nut bread. I was thinking of doing that tomorrow. I have to wrap the kids' gifts too but that is just about it! Oh, I have to get Christmas groceries too.

  198. I'm working on a couple more projects for Christmas, but the secret is that if I don't get them done, I'm just going to give people things I already have finished, even if they weren't made specifically for them. I'm a reader subscriber.

  199. Hi Amy! I have almost all my gifts still to wrap – because of a kitten and a 2 year old, they don't stand much chance of staying wrapped another 5 days! They are patiently hogging up all the space in my coat closet for a few more days.

  200. I'm actually currently working on a project for a friend. She saw a table tent I made and asked if I'd make one custom to her table. I was excited to do it, but it's been a big undertaking! It's about done and I'm going to use the extra fabric to make a little apron for her daughter.
