Rosebud Quilter – Giveaway!

Posted on January 20th, by Amy in give away. 251 comments

Want to win some fabric!?  Five readers have a chance to win Hope Valley Charm Packs from my friend Michelle, at Rosebud Quilting!

I asked Michelle to share a little about herself and her shop —

Hello, I’m Michelle, from Rosebud Quilting.  You can find me on my blog Rosebud Quilting, where I blog mostly about quilting and fabric, but I also enjoy knitting, gardening, rubber stamping, and of course photography.  I have a long arm quilting business {Gammill statler stitcher}, that at present I have just been working with local clients.  I branched out into the on-line fabric selling about August of 2009 and I have a shop on Etsy.  I carry a great selection of Kaffe Fassett prints and shot cottons, along with Phillip Jacobs, Amy Butler, Heather Bailey, Denyse Schmidt and later this month expecting Joel Dewberry’s newest line.  I hope to keep expanding my selection.   I sell by the yard, half yard and fat quarter.  I also carry jelly rolls, charm packs and am in the process of making up quilt kits.  I use the Accuquilt for precision cutting with numerous dye templates (Dresden plate, drunkard’s path, diamond, heart, basket, 2 1/2 inch strips, 5″ squares, 3″ squares, half-square triangles, 1″ squares).   I love fabric and quilting and am enjoying meeting all the great new friends on-line, an added bonus that I had no idea how wonderful it would be.  I keep learning and getting inspired by all wonderful people who blog.  Looking forward to a great 2010 year.

  1. Howdy – thanks for the giveaway! For the fabric lines, I'm still utterly smitten with Nicey Jane – it's so springy and bright, much needed cheer in the dreary Michigan winter.

  2. Wow, great give away. I love Michelle's charm packs…what a great value added product. It is a toss up between Nicey Jane and Hope Valley.

  3. I love the hope valley line but I have been collecting some of kaffe fasset's shot cottons. Very attractive I think and add a bit of "umph" when using a solid color.
Thanks for the heads up on her blog too!

  4. wow, great give away. Nice shop and cute blog. Thanks for sharing and for giving the chance to win!
My favourite is Heather Bailey. Just love her fabrics, they are so fresh and sweet.

  5. I'm totally in love with Hope Valley right now. Even if I don't win anything, I'll definitely be ordering the fat quarter set from Rosebud! I've recently started collecting Kaffe fabrics too, and I'm always a sucker for anything polka-dot!!

  6. Thanks for the giveaway!

After looking at Michelle's shop, I am enamored with the Denise Schmidt Hope Valley Line–especially the blue/grey. Originally I thought they weren't vibrant enough but now I see the calmness and I'm just smitten!

  7. Thanks for this awesome giveaway! Hope Valley is my favorite line that she carries.I'm obsessed with that grey floral. Great shop! I love all of the precut options.

  14. OK, you gotta stop featuring fab etsy shops, I had to take a little detour to buy some things. I LOVE it when people go ahead & make pre-cuts from fabrics you can't normally find in any size smaller than a 1/2 yard. (so not shocking that I purchased some charms…)

  15. Hi Amy

I've checked out Michelle's store and love her huge range of gorgeous Kaffe fabric. However, my fave line in her store atm is "Hope Valley".

    I'm now following Michelle's blog.
