  1. If the top layer's anything to go by, it's a great bundle of fabric! I'm looking for inspiration for a 'big bed' quilt for my daughter for when she moves out of her cot, and this fabric could be a possible candidate!

  2. OOooh I'm first! I follow you on Facebook and subscribe! I'm a big fan and love what you do both in/for the quilting community and with fabric! I love hearing about the family too!
If I were to win the Frolic I would make myself a superdooper pieced apron – I feel a little selfish but I have had the same Laura Ashley print one for 25 years and I am getting enthused by all the snappy aprons appearing in blogland!

  3. Hi Amy, thanks for the giveaway and festival, it is going to be so much fun! I have a piece of frolic backing but nothing for the quilttop, it is waiting in my drawer for something it 'goes' with and this would be perfect !

  4. Oh Amy! Trust you to have beautiful fabric to giveawy, YUM!!! Don't know what I would make with it! LOL I follow you on FB. :)

  5. Oh wow love the Layer Cake, Amy. Thanks for participating in SMS giveaway. And thanks for entering me :-)

  6. Good Morning Amy!! What a terrific giveaway! I have to say I am looking forward to the festival at the end of the week!!

  7. I'd plot and scheme to come up with a new quilt, of course! I'm a follower of your blog and I follow you on Facebook

  8. I think I'd made a flying geese in the forest quilt – I've had my eye on it for a while – I'd probably make a mini version though because the full size one would take me forever and a day!

  9. If I won, I would incorporate the charm pack into the handbags I make. Well, that is what I think at the moment!

  10. Sandy's Frolic reminds me of the decore in my house when we bought it 23 years ago! So I could make a lap quilt to remind myself of those first years of being in the house and my marriage to my husband. Thanks for the chance Amy.

  11. Love your giveaway, thanks. Not sure what I'd make at the moment. Just finished a quilt and am taking a day or two breather. Also trying to decide which quilt to use for your Quilt Festival!

  12. Hi Amy, I'm already a follower and now I "like" you on Facebook too. That fabric is not my usual thing, gorgeously bright and vibrant, so I think I'd make a bag with it which would be lovely for the summer. Thanks for a great giveaway. Lis x

  13. Love this fabric. I would make a table runner. I have the perfect pattern for it. Thanks for the chance to win.

  14. I would love to make some little pouches – or maybe even start a quilt. As a beginner I can't wait to see what others suggest!

  15. Frolic is so pretty! There's a baby coming up in the family – the first since I started quilting – so you know where that layer cake would go! Already a follower. Thanks Amy!

  16. Oh this is a great giveaway! I've been eyeing the Frolic line for awhile and a layer cake is perfect – it makes up into two baby filmstrip quilts (visit crazymomquilts.blogspot.com or my blog to see examples) out of one layer cake.

  17. Oh wow. Thanks for a cool give away and the recent tutorials on putting together a quilt! Keep up the bloggie goodness!

  18. Looks so pretty. I've been wanting to make my family a summer quilt to bring to the beach – this could be the perfect reason to get started.

  19. I'm thinking I could either make reuseable shopping bags, a cute shoe bag for dance classes/gym, or maybe line the inside of a few plain black totes and purses I have…

  20. Oh I would love to win this so much! I'm working on a pinwheel sampler right now that I used this fabric for…..my son's girlfriend likes it so much that I'd use it to make her one too!!

    Thanks for being so Generous!

  22. Lovely cheerful patterns. I think it might go into the next cot quilt I make (for a baby due in September) with hopefully some left to join my huge hoard of precious fabric!

  23. I have been subscribing since the last quilt festival but now I am following too, and I 'like' you on facebook!

  24. Beautiful fabric! I've been itching to make a quick quilt and since I am super busy at work, using a layer cake would be the perfect thing!

    Kristina

  143. I don't know what I'd make yet – I have so many project ideas to choose from.. Therefore, something interesting: Windows tend to get thicker at the bottom over time because glass is not technically a solid and is classified as a supercool liquid, which in itself is super cool! :-D

    Yep, I'm a nerd.

  144. I just found your blog today. Good thing I was sick and had to stay home from work today. lol
I added your blog to my google reader.

I would sort them into each print, with all the different colors of each print together. I would get precut linties all over the place. I would maybe make a couple of gathered zipper pouches out of it eventually. (Later on I can find the link for you if you want.)
So, are you offering it to the writer of the longest comment? lol

  183. Having not used precuts very much, I am not sure what I would do with it, but there are so many good ideas out there I would be sure to come up with something. Thanks for the chance.

  184. Hmm. A quilt maybe. Although I just finished one, so I might be interested in something else for a change!

  185. What cute fabric! Ok something interesting… my cat sneezes all of the time. I think she has allergies. It's weird, right… a cat with allergies? (btw she's really cute when she sneezes… everyone should have a cat with allergies. She doesn't seem to be congested and suffering, just sneezy sometimes.)

  186. beautiful fabric! i've been really into patchwork lately: pillows, fabric buckets, table runners, clothing. i'll find something fabulous to make with it!

  187. I am a subscriber through bloglines! I am excited to see that you have a binding tutorial. I just finished my second quilt and the first time I did the binding I was being supervised in a class. This time I'm on my own, eeek. Your tutorial will help, thank you :)
