Hi, and Welcome to Amy’s Creative Side – if you aren’t a regular reader, take a few minutes to poke around and get to know my creative side a little!  I have a list of the recently popular posts in my sidebar, just scroll down a bit to find it.
I have a fabulous Frolic layer cake to giveaway today –
Layer Cake = 42 coordinating 10″ squares

To win –
1 – Leave me a comment, maybe what you would make with the layer cake…or something interesting :)
2 – Subscribe or follow my blog, or let me know that you already do.
3 – Like Amy’s Creative Side on Facebook

Each comment you leave is an entry to the giveaway – my comments are numbered so each one is important for your chances.

Thanks to Sew, Mama, Sew for hosting this fun event once again!!

Good luck – I’ll select a winner on Thursday, May 20th – just before Blogger’s Quilt Festival begins on Friday!

If the top layer's anything to go by, it's a great bundle of fabric! I'm looking for inspiration for a 'big bed' quilt for my daughter for when she moves out of her cot, and this fabric could be a possible candidate!

OOooh I'm first! I follow you on Facebook and subscribe! I'm a big fan and love what you do both in/for the quilting community and with fabric! I love hearing about the family too!
If I were to win the Frolic I would make myself a superdooper pieced apron – I feel a little selfish but I have had the same Laura Ashley print one for 25 years and I am getting enthused by all the snappy aprons appearing in blogland!

    Crafty Librarian says:

Guess there was a comment problem. I wrote to say that I love the definition of the word frolic "An outburst of fun, gaiety, or mirth" – a perfect description of this fabric. It deserves to be seen and bring joy to as many people as possible, so I would make a fabulous picnic quilt (with sensible backing – the weather here is by no means reliable), for lazy summer afternoons in the park with my small person. The colours are perfect for hiding the inevitable splashes and stains, and I could use the quilt in the winter for indoor tea parties with the small one as a happy reminder of the warm weather.

Now, what would I do with that nice stack – oh the possibilities, but since I am a quilt addict, I think it would be time to make my own again, and practice the machine quilting. Maybe then again, I am only dreaming of having the time….

I tried to subscribe to your blog because I am just amazed at all your very well written tutorials. Sadly, I can't find any way of doing so. I use the RSS feeds through my browser in IE8 and that doesn't seem to be turned on and I can't locate any other way to subscribe such as maybe via email etc.

Possibly you can help me? I really don't want to lose your blog now that I found it. Your knowledge is amazing to me as I'm new to quilting.
