My Creative Time
Hi there! It’s been one of those weeks! I just haven’t had much visible creative time. I’ve been creative, just in different ways! I’ve been designing quilts, looking at fabrics (feeling them too!) and trying to make a few decisions. I believe my choppy days, contribute to the lack of sewing, AND I spent a lot of time on this quilt last week, and have taken care of the ignored floors and laundry this week. It never ends! Once our routines get a bit more settled, or I set myself a deadline, I will be on track again!
Another creative outlet baking:

Peach Cobbler! We had some fresh peaches, grown locally, and they were turning too fast to eat. I found the recipe here. It was delicious!
Hopefully this weekend I’ll get a thing or two cut out and get started, it always helps me to get that detail out of the way.
I hope you are having a great day!
Blessings~
Amy

I seem to sew in spurts and gushes for the same reason — taking care of undone. The cobbler looks delicious. I love peaches!
It’s almost peak season for apples soon. Looking forward to that.
Take care… Hugs!
Good morning! I totally understand dealing with choppy days. Good luck finding your routine and enjoy that peach cobbler…yum! Smiles :)
Yummy peaches! I made apple pie this week for the same reason. Only it was apples, not peaches. Obviously.
Oh Yumm! I love Peach cobbler, I will have to add that recipe to my list to try! I am sure that Chris will love it too! He appreciates any baking I do even if its only mini muffins!
Oh, I love peach cobbler! We had some just the other day too! :)
I myself made peach crisp last night. It was a yummy breakfast.
That looks YUMMY!!!!
Yes.I sooo get what you mean!! some days you just can not seem to get ahead. vacume, dusting, wiping, mopping, washing, cooking ..then as soon as you turn your back you do it al over again right? auughhh almost no chance to jst sit & out your feet up and enjoy it for 2 seconds before it goes back…
that is why I LOVE quilts–I want the mindless getaway AND I want the reward of the finish :)…..
I have had one of those weeks – two steps forward, one step back. The recipe sounds great and if your picture is any indication, I will definitely have to give it a try!
