Hello all ! can’t wait to see everybody’s challenge results !
Love the colors in Spirit!!!
I did it! I finished! And I KNOW that if I hadn’t written it down for the world to see, those quilt labels would still be sitting on my ironing board next to the quilts they needed to be sewn onto. So thank you!
I met my goals of finishing my quilt AND getting the pattern written for it! I’m very proud of myself!
Jennifer :)
I got my test sandwich done! I actually made two. They aren’t awesome, and I couldn’t find my camera yesterday, so I’ll have to update with photos tonight. But they’re done!
Hopefully getting those houses done gets me in a a making mood – I’ve got lots more to do for my next show!
I finished the diaper bag I was working on! Now to finish the other bag I started! Want to offer me a prize for that too? ;)
I love these challenges because then I actually get done what needs to be done! :) Also, I love checking out everyone else’s projects!
Amy, once more thanks so much for organzing this! I think I need a challenge like this every week… ;-)
Now off to get the bindings done.
Thanks Amy for this challenge. If I hadn’t had this deadline, I’m pretty sure my quilt top would not be finished and I wouldn’t be feeling the really nice sense of accomplishment I’m feeling. Great idea!
Seriously, Amy– thank you!!! If it weren’t for your challenge, I do believe that my quilt would still be sitting on the floor, unquilted. But you really motivated me to pick it up and get quilting. Thanks so much!!!
[...] also did my One Thing for Amy’s challenge. I finished sewing the 80 blocks together for the Fat Quarterly quilt along. Here they [...]
I got my one thing done–I’m so excited! Finished sewing together the blocks. Even though I’m still a week behind in the quilt along, at least it’s only one week! Also, Amy, on the small chance that I win the drawing for the charm pack, please give it to someone else because I already have one in Spirit. Obviously I love that fabric since it’s what my WIP is being made from!
i’m about to tackle my project momentarily. hopefully i can link up soon. thanks for hosting this challenge!
Yay! I got my quilt bound and labeled. Love the push that the challenge gave me to get it done! Thanks Amy!
When’s the next challenge?=)
ok, I’m not done yet but very close. But i was looking at everyones posts while eating lunch and I a very impressed such beautiful items this time around. It noce to see new names on the list of people too.
Whew! I finally got the MU quilt top pieced together. Thanks, Amy, for challenging us. I don’t think I would have stayed up til 1 a.m. working on this if I hadn’t told you I was going to get it done. Can’t wait to see what everyone accomplished. Smiles :)
Thanks Amy for the challenge! So glad I participated this time and finished it!
Yeah! I finished my goal as well!

I added my progress…I was a bit short of my goal, but still proud of my finishes. Thanks, Amy, for the challenge! It really did motivate me! Can’t wait to work my way through all of the other posts!
Thanks for the challenge. Got a jacket embroidered and delivered last week! YEAH! And did finish a skirt for a pattern review.
This week back to quilting and sewing one item for myself.
finished a little gift bag for my s-i-l – put lots of strips in it for her, too!
I was in a groove last week, but I have a feeling my sewing productivity is going to be declining with the new stuff I have in these coming weeks.
Thanks Amy for the motivation! I stayed up to 11p last night because I was tired and procrastinated this weekend. This challenge lit a fire under me. I got distracted making my Charming Pumpkin and my Colorful Cats Galore wallhangings. http://cyarnell.blogspot.com/2010/09/colorful-cat-galore.html Thanks for the push!
Yippee! Got the skirt done!
Off to see what others accomplished this week!
I met and actually exceeded my goal! Yipee!!!
Thank you for the motivation. I was able to get my bee blocks done.
YAY!! I was so glad to get this promise fulfilled! Now to get it in the mail tomorrow!
Congrats on all of the other finishes!!
I finished – the top for DS’ costume just needs buttons and button holes – the trim is even on and the quilt top is done. But…..I didn’t have time to get any pictures!
I finished not only my quilt top, but my whole quilt! Thanks for the much needed motivation!
Oops! Forgot to comment after linking! Thanks again for the motivation! So happy to have finished my quilt top! :)
Glad to have gotten my project done…. however, I am much more pleased with my other accomplishment this week – this one was 9 months in the making!
