I did not finish piecing my quilt top, yet!  My kids don’t have school today, so I’m hoping to get the blocks finished and start piecing the top.  That cold took more out of me that I had anticipated!

I hope you have a great day – I’m off to check out your links!

I am not sure I am completely satisfied with the arrangement. I may like it better after I add a border. At least I got the pieces together before the pins ended up in the livingroom carpet!

I just love that you have this. I always manage to challenge myself and get something big accomplished!! Ya for finishing my first Riley Blake Cutting Corners tutorial :)

I completed my challenge by getting the borders on a blue baby quilt. I was sick most of the week so was pleased that I was able to finish that portion of the quilt.

I accomplished much more than I expected which was fabulous! Binding on a queen size quilt for a friend. Binding my own French Braid Quilt and making two quilt tops along with two “starts”. So many ideas – so little time!

I joined your challenge last week and surprised myself by actually completing it. A double flower garden with the path (no center fabric yet) — I hexied myself last week and got it done. The accountability really motivated me to concentrate on that one sewing task. Taxes are still ahead of me though! Amy, hope win your book so can choose some of those projects as a challenge. Thanks! p.s. my flickr name is MarciaFlorida and my linky entry is number 23 above. Now, if only I could learn how to take good photos!

Congratulations to all who finished what they hoped to finish! I had the best intentions – till I discovered a mistake. Than another one … in the end, my top is not finished yet . But anyway, at least I worked on it, so thanks for the challenge ;-))

I sewed and sewed and sewed. I have all my 5×5 blocks completed. Quite the accomplishment for me. Yesterday afternoon, I started sewing these blocks into rows. It is 8 blocks by eight blocks of the log cabin pattern. Then, I was even able to start sewing the strips of rows together. I ran into a problem in row number five (out of 8 rows) where one of my seems doesn’t match up…may need to take out and redo that block in the middle….Grrrr. Anyhow, thanks for the encouragement to get back at this!:) Am planning on hand quilting when I am finished piecing….I have never machine quilted……..I have a lot to learn:) Janelle
