Trunk Show Weekend & a Winner!

Posted on April 11th, by Amy in Modern Basics. 17 comments

Hi there!  I hope you all had a great weekend, with spring break this week, ours has been very relaxed!

Saturday afternoon, I spent at Seasons of Home, meeting and chatting with fellow quilters, and fabric lovers.  It was fun!

Natalia took a few pictures for us:

I’m talking in all these, so my expressions are pretty funny!

It was great to show off the quilts again!

Questions and answers about the quilts and how I ended up writing a book.

There were more quilts hanging around the shop too :

The shop is in a historic home, and a tight fit!

The winner of the Sponsor Giveaway, last week:

Helen doesn’t have a blog, but I’ve emailed you!

Happy Monday ~

  1. Beautiful quilts! Love, love, love Amy Butler fabric and the second quilt you are holding – what is the name of that and the fabric you used? Beautiful! Congrats to Helen! Have a great day!

  2. I so enjoyed all the pictures from this book that I had to go out and buy it for myself. Now I can’t wait to get started on making some of the quilts from it. Thanks for sharing.

  3. Eek! I hadn’t realised I’d won all of the giveaway prizes – thought they were shared between three winners! Am now even more excited! Your trunk show looks like great fun – any chance of you doing a UK tour?! Thanks again for the giveaway – my first win!!

  4. The quilts that are shown are lovely. Could you please tell me where I could purchase the patterns for the Fall, Summer & Winter wallhangings that are hanging on the wall behind you? I would love to make all three of these and of course one for Spring. Thank you!

  5. I love your hair and your quilts !!! and the ‘summer’ one in the background is CUTE !!!! looks like you had a fun time !
