The Quilting Book Club
Recently, I was contacted by Shawna at 1 Choice 4 Quilting, about making quilts as a group from Modern Basics. What a great idea!

Click the graphic to find out how to get involved!
There is no cost to participate, just get a book and find the fabrics that you want to use, or grab a kit here! The Quilt Book Club will use one book for 4-6 months, each month will be a new pattern, and you are welcome to join for just one month, or make one every month! It’s up to you!
Shawna has a flickr group set up to show off your quilts in progress, and learn from each other as you sew. Of course, since the group is starting with Modern Basics, I will be checking in often to see how everyone is doing. And offer words of encouragement as needed! I only wish I had more hours – I’d make this one up again!

I can’t wait to see more quilts popping up online!
Are you in?

Shawna’s getting things started with a giveaway, enter to win a kit or a book, by clicking the graphic above, and going to the blog!

Wow! I want to know the name of the quilt pattern for the first quilt you displayed up above. Awesome! Excellent! Love it!
I’m in! I just bought your book last week and I’m making one of the quilts in it for my mother-in-law. This will be fun!

Wow, now that sounds like fun! Couldn’t decide where to start, so this is a good one!
Bought the fabric to make the first one last week with Tove! Just need a little push to get started! :) three fabrics needed, less decisions; that’s why I chose it. Good for me a beginner! Love, Mom
