Six thousand, five hundred, and fifty-one!

What does that number mean?

The number of times, I tell my kids to stop running in the house each week?

Or

The number of times I leave my house over the course of the month, as I go to and from school?

Nope!

It’s the number of copies of my book that sold in the first two months!!

A sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to those of you that have already bought books and have sought them out in your local communities. I am so grateful to be a part of this supportive community!

If you haven’t gotten your copy of Modern Basics yet I have a couple signed copies available here, or ask your local quilt shop to get it in stock!  My local shop, Seasons of Home, is having a hard time keeping them in stock – good problem in my opinion.  : )

If you have Modern Basics and need a jump start making a quilt…join the Quilting Book Club!

Lots of support and friends to be made – fun, fun!

  1. That has to make you feel like, oh say, $5551.00. Isn’t that just wonderful. Hoping the sales continue and there are many re-printings of your book. Congratulations and a “Big Bang”

  2. Congratulations Amy! What a wonderful accomplishment!! I put a quote on my FB today that said “What you will do matters. All you need to do is do it.”
