How to use Flickr — Join the Community

Posted on May 5th, by Amy in video. 5 comments

Blog or no blog…flickr is a great tool for connecting in the crafty community!  In case you haven’t set up your account yet – here’s a crash course to setting up your flickr account and adding your pictures to groups.

Bloggers’ Quilt Festival will be here next week, and there will be a new gallery of quilts available here and on flickr, as well as The Quilting Book Club.  Go make a quilt from Modern Basics with some new friends!  The groups available on Flickr are as varied as you can imagine, search and see what you might like to join.

Have fun~ Amy

I’ll also be quilting along with the Quilting Book Club, and had no idea how to use Flickr either. Now that I’ve left my comment, I guess I need to go look at what you sent so I can figure it out. Woo-Hoo!

Flickr is such a great design resource and also a great way to meet some wonderful new friends! It’s also trouble…I can’t tell you how many times I’ve looked up from the computer to realize hours have passed!
