Canton Village Quilt Works Winner and Fabric Therapy
Hi there! I hope you had a nice weekend – we did but it went by too fast!
Knowing that you really just want to know if you won, let’s get down to that business. The winner is –
Those of you that did not win can visit Jackie and console yourself. (I might just join you over there!)

Now for the fabric therapy.
I had hoped to actually sew over the weekend, but didn’t make it to the machine. I was caught up with some Sewing Summit details, instead of sewing, but I will make up for it soon! Friday night I shared on facebook and twitter while I cut these adorable fabrics–

The fabric on top is a border stripe, and I cut each one out to use as a strip in between pieced rows. Each strip varies in size, and will be a fun addition to the simple squares. This will be a commissioned quilt for a new baby girl coming this fall – I’ll post more when I make it to the machine!
What are you working on this week?
Amy

Hi Amy! Thanks for the giveaway. I hope you get lots of sewing time this week.
That baby quilt is sweet! I’m finally tackling a wall hanging I designed months ago. It was inspired by some Acoma Pueblo pottery I fell in love with years ago. If you are interested, by can read more on my blog post from this morning. http://stitchingtimes.blogspot.com/2011/07/where-do-you-find-inspiration.html. Thanks for offering up so much inspiration on your blog. I love it.
