My Doll Quilt
Yesterday was another great mail day! The best part of doing swaps is getting something special made just for you, as a surprise in your mailbox! As I opened my package, I found this adorable label looking up at me and I recognized it. I looked at it and the quilting for a moment, trying to jog my (slow) memory, to see if I could recall which quilt I had seen in the flickr group.

I only lasted a moment! I had to open it and see which quilt was in my hands!

Look at this beautiful kaleidoscope quilt! Nichole said she was excited to have my name as partners were handed out, since she’s been a reader for a few years now, and felt that she knew my style already. And if I’m really honest; I was hoping for a kaleidoscope quilt! I have seen so many, but haven’t taken the time to make one myself, and this one is perfect!

The quilting suits it perfectly too!

Nichole also sent two gorgeous fat quarters, and a monogrammed notebook. Of course the first thing the two present girls asked -
Can I have that quilt?
Can I have that notebook?
To which I quickly replied NO, on both accounts!
Thanks again Nichole – I really love it!

I love it!!! What would you classify a kaleidoscope quilt as far as beginner to advanced? It looks pretty difficult.
