Links for You & First Day of School!

We made it to the first day of school, and everyone was on time!  Yay!  It always feels like a big accomplishment the first few days of school.  To simplify the process, everyone was excited, so they popped out of bed and rushed downstairs to begin the day.  It’s so hard (as mom) to realize that they are growing up, and becoming so independent.  So I try to focus on today, and not think about Ella driving in 5 years, or Owen starting Kindergarten next year.  Just today.  Praying that they all have a good day, and ready to do it all over again tomorrow!

This was their one serious picture, here’s a more animated one :

Told you they were excited!

Sweet! For a very brief moment, I considered taking a picture of my teen as she bolted out the door in her stilleto heels, juggling the Ipod and cell phone, but it just wasn’t the same as those “first day of school” photos back in grade school

My one and only was never excited to go to school. We fought nearly every day! *sigh*
