Beginnings

Posted on December 20th, by Amy in work in progress. 3 comments

I’ve been planning and just started a paper pieced project.   One of my favorite points in a project is when I’ve done all the math, cut all the fabric, and I’m ready to piece, and piece.

Beginnings!

I’m excited to be using Preeti, a soon to be released collection by Blend Fabrics.  I’m loving, and using, the blue/green color way, and looking forward to it coming together!

Over the summer I paper-pieced this project – I would still love to make that block in a larger quilt.

Hopefully, you all are finishing the projects you have marked as gifts – it’s crunch time!

I’m off to press a bit, so I can keep making progress -

Amy

I feel math and cutting are the necessary evils in quilting.

As the saying goes… It’s all down hill from here ;o)
    Have a great day.

I was having fun designing a new paper piecing pattern during my lunch hour at work today, alas, it’ll be new year before I can do anything with it! I’m feeling the crunch time, but at least I’m done work for the year now…
