Today Jackie is giving away a beautiful fat quarter bundle!

Canton Village Quilt Works is always stocked with bright and beautiful fabrics, and Jackie is quick to ship your purchases!  If you don’t know Jackie already, she’s been a quilter for 18 years, longarm quilter for 12 years, has had her long arm quilting business for 12 years, opened her fabric shop 2 years ago, she’s a designer for Quilt Magazine, and finally, is a quilting podcaster.  Whew!  I also happen to know that she has a loving family, complete with a few furry friends too!

The Blogger’s BOM program released a new block just yesterday too – visit this post for details!

This is the bundle of fat quarters to be won–

Aren’t they pretty?

Jackie has a great eye for beautiful color.

Along with the batik fabrics, Canton Village Quilt Works carries an array of prints, and lots of basics too!  A wide range of Kona Cottons (at a great price!), Essex linen/cotton blend, and fat quarter bundles for any stash.

Jackie  is offering special discount to my readers for 15% off the entire site for the duration of the giveaway!  Simply use code “amy15″ during checkout.

I just hate to throw away good fabric. So far I’ve made 10 blankets, mostly crib and throw sized. I also bound 3 crib quilts and hope to get one more bound this weekend. It’s been a productive month. No finishes so far this year… I am hard at work on making a king-sized lone star quilt for my bedroom. It is quite a challenge, and so is finding time to work on it. I have three children, two school-aged and one preschooler. I’ve only been quilting for about 2 years, and so far I’ve made 3 twin-sized quilts and about a dozen table runners and wall hangings. (And of course, another half dozen or so projects in the works!) So I actually think I’m making great progress!

I love these batiks! The colors are great! I finished three blocks for a crazy quilt round robin, but that’s all I’ve finished in fabric. I’m working on embellishing a bunch of crazy quilt blocks that I made last year. I’m hoping to get through all of them by the end of the year. I’m sure that I’ll be working on other things throughout the year as well, including a cathedral windows tutorial that uses black fabric as the background and batiks as the window fabrics.
