Whoo Hoo! I’m the first commenter.
Sadly I have finished nothing so far this year. Hopefully this weekend I will change that. Small kiddos plus a few weekends full of house guests puts a crimp in sewing time.

I really love this give away. I have a big softspot for batiks.
I doesn’t work at the moments at (quilt)projects because I have troubles with my schoulder and neck. I hope I will at least finish 3 quilts this year.

Hi. I loooove batiks! I made a quilt for my daughter’s bed with them and it is the most vibrant quilt I have ever made. Anyway, in 2012 I have exactly one finish! I bartered a quilt with my manicurist and delivered it to her on Tuesday. She loved it so much that she gave me extra credit! I have a few more appointments to go, yay me! Anyway, thanks for hosting this giveaway, I totally appreciate it!

I have been participating in a couple online challenges which has given me incentive to finish things. So far in 2012 I’ve finished 3 baby quilts (one started in late December), a wall hanging, and two (non-quilted) window treatments. Hooray!
what a great giveaway. The batiks always OOOH me, but for some reason I rarely buy them. They are really lovely though! I have had two quilt ‘finishes’ so far this year. One is an 80×80 postage stamp quilt, and one is a 40×40 baby quilt. I have a 70×70 kaleidoscope quilt basted and ready to quilt today, so that will be a third :)

No finishes yet, though I’m close–finishing up my first bed-sized quilt (and second quilt ever!) for my son–I originally hoped to have it done for Christmas–now I’m aiming for Valentine’s Day–just a little more hand quilting to do, and then binding.

I finished a set of matching totes and zipper pouches! Of course, I have a quilt top missing a border and pieces cut for a tablet keeper that are still staring at me accusingly….
So far, I have finished 4 quilt tops, one cushion, one bag, and 2x 25″ blocks for my Swoon quilt. I’m pretty happy with that. :)
No finish for 2012 – yet. I do have a quilt top waiting for borders this weekend and hopefully by early February the quilt will adorn my reading chair. There is fabric selected for 3 more just waiting.
Jackie does have an eye for color. I love the bundle!

My only finish this year is a 12 X 12 quilt. I have a pillow that is quilted, it just needs backing and binding. I’ve been busy cutting out a queen size quilt for my bed. This is my biggest project yet! I’m trying not to look at the “big picture” and take it one block at a time.

I really love those bright colored batiks! I have been gathering some for a while now. So far in 2012, I have made and finished two baby boy quilts and a quilt-as-you-go table runner. I have two more baby quilt tops done and ready to be quilted and a little Valentine hanging that just needs the binding hand stitched. I am already Jackie’s friend on FB.

I have finished a mug rug, a table mat, a baby quilt, and a wallhanging. Wow, I felt like I’d finished nothing, but once I thought about it, it’s not so bad!
Those Batiks are just beautiful! I have finished 1 quilt top, well it was finished until I got some big idea that I was going to turn the tumbling hourglasses into butterfly’s. I may change my mind and may not make them butterflies though…I have also made a mug cozy and a mug rug.

Welllll it depends on what you mean by finished? I finished marking my wholecloth quilt and currently have it loaded on my frame and am about 1/3 finished. Those fabrics are gorgeous!

I’ve been on a roll this month. I’ve finished 5 things. Sounds like a lot but most of them were simple, easy finishes on some wall hangings. But 2 of them were quilting and binding on 2 large baby quilts. I hope I can keep the pace up throughout the year…LOL

I am just starting back into sewing and quilting, as I have a grand-daughter on the way! I put my quilting on “hold” when I was a single mother with young children who re-entered the workplace. Now I’m still working but my young children are grown, so I’m looking forward to making special things for my grandchildren. Love the colors in this bundle and would love to be the winner!

So far this year I’ve only finished a new wallet and check book cover for myself. I am halfway done with a new tree skirt and an advent calendar….with the hope that they both will be completed by Christmas!
I have finished one quilt and sent four off to the quilter this month, my big project at the moment is reorganizing and rearranging my sewing room. Once it is done I can get back to finishing my projects. Thank you for the chance to win the batiks, I love them.

Have finished on baby quilt for donation, need to finish the binding on a birthday quilt for my brother, and I have started piecing four identical wall hangings. Thanks for the chance to win. Sad to say I have zero finishes, but I did complete all 100 of my 8.5″ English paper pieced blocks for a pies and tarts quilt, and I finished two BOM blocks on schedule.

I confess that I have zero finishes so far this year :-( But, I’m like a snail (or a turtle) — slow and steady will win the race. :-D
the only thing I have “finished” this year is a doll blanket for my 8yr old’s new american girl doll, three quilt tops, and one back (so I could take to the longarmer to quilt. I also have another quilt top cut out and strips sewn, now to start cutting again.
I’ve had one queen sized finish this year.
I am bad, I haven’t really finished anything, but i have been making small projects to keep my hands busy.

I guess it depends on the meaning of finish. I’ve finished one quilt top and the top for a table runner. They are waiting to be quilted and I have a small donation quilt under the needle right now. The batiks are gorgeous! Thanks!
I’ve finished a small wall hanging and a Dresden pillow so far in January… but I have 6 days left!
There are 6 quilt tops waiting to be quilted – hoping to get at least one of them done this month!
Sadly, I have no finishes yet as I spent 2 weeks on a road trip in our VW bus to California, Nevada & Arizona only to come home to the mess left from a massive snow and ice storm…..

First of all, I LOVE the colors of the fabrics! I’ve finished a small cross-stitch, a pair of sock (and am almost done with a second pair), a queen size Spin Wheels quilt and a whole cloth quilt (60″x60″). I quilted the whole cloth quilt between Christmas and New Years, but put on the binding and washed out the markings this year.
I’ve followed your blog for a while now, and you always inspire me to try to do more. :)

I had two lap quilts I had to quilt for a giveaway the second week of January. Got them done. I’ve been piecing fleece blankets, not a favorite thing to do but I really want to use up all my leftovers from robes and PJs from this Christmas and years past. I just hate to throw away good fabric. So far I’ve made 10 blankets, mostly crib and throw sized. I also bound 3 crib quilts and hope to get one more bound this weekend. It’s been a productive month. I have done a couple owl zipper bags in the hoop and some teddy bears in the hoop. I also completed the first clue in a mystery quilt that I, my mother, my daughter, and my sister-in-law are doing together. Batiks are my favorite fabric type so I hope I win! :)

I’m really on a roll this year. So far I have made a sewing machine cover, sewing case, 3 mini Christmas cushions, 2 mini Christmas hangers, 2 hats and by the end of the weekend will have finished a mug rug! I love holiday time but it’s back to reality next week!

Those batiks are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. They are the perfect combination of colors. I finished a framed quilted heart for my Valentine decor for this year. I am working on a special mystery quilt that will take most of this year to do.

Those batiks make my mouth water! I have finished one sample for a class, a little sewing bag, a couple of thread-catcher pincushions, a couple of friendship exhange blocks, and a few quilted pillows. Cleaned up the sewing room, organized my UFOs, then hid them underneath the window seat. :)

I haven’t had a chance to finish any quilts yet this year. My year so far has been filled with bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses and western show clothing getting ready for a local fashion show to be held Mar.1 in Roosevelt, UT. You can bet as soon as that is over I will be quilting again!!

I finished a large lap quilt, a small lap quilt, and a table runner so far. I have 3 more runners almost done, and need to do 2 more quilts that are started. I did lots of alterations for my mom, too. The colors on the batiks are lovely and need to be in my stash! Thanks.

I have finished sewing 15 pieces of cloth pantyliners, 2 pad organisers, 3 cloth menstrual pads… emmmm what else, opsss 30 pieces of pocket tissue cover for my sister’s wedding… and one quilt blanket for a friend’s new born. Quite a lot, maybe because of the additional hi-speed machine in my sewing corner.

I finished a quilt made out of the flannel receiving blankets from my grandson. I cute squares out of them, put a flannel border & back. Then just straight line quilted it. Turned out a cute memory quilt. He will be 3 shortly.
I am knitting a shawl at the moment, I have only 6 more rows to finish. Hopefully, I can finish it by end the week if only there is no interruptions.
I have 4 quilted finishes (flimsies done last year) and one done start to finish! I also have 2 older flimises pinned up and another new one pieced. I am on a roll!!!!!
My finish is a Laundry Basket Quilts Dresdan Star. So cool. Next finish is a Quiltworx Glacier Star. Totally different projects and a fun learning process!!

No finishes so far this year… I am hard at work on making a king-sized lone star quilt for my bedroom. It is quite a challenge, and so is finding time to work on it. I have three children, two school-aged and one preschooler. I’ve only been quilting for about 2 years, and so far I’ve made 3 twin-sized quilts and about a dozen table runners and wall hangings. (And of course, another half dozen or so projects in the works!) So I actually think I’m making great progress!
No finishes this year, but a very good start! Love those batiks.
I finished 3 dresses, but no quilt top. I am too annoyed with it. It has been described as a bizarre clown halloween quilt. I am ready to slice it up.
I haven’t had a finish yet but I will soon because I’m making a sampler quilt I a class that ends Feb 15.

These batiks are mouthwateringly gorgeous. So fatr only one quilt finish but hopefully a second over the weekend, an I spy quillow for a friends new grandson.

batiks are my all time favorite! My finish this year isn’t a quilt, but small stuffed owls (one for a diaper cake topper). The new mom
has an owl theme and I couldn’t find anything premade in her color scheme (pinks, black and white).

I am pleased and proud to report that, even with having to take my sewing machine in for servicing this month, I have four completed projects! Three are quilts (The Dark Side: Modern Churn Dash, Bunny Trails, and Fish Tank)and one is a sweet peasant blouse for my daughter.

I have no finishes for this year. These fabrics are amazing…and I want to wear them! Just gorgeous.
I love these batiks! The colors are great! I finished three blocks for a crazy quilt round robin, but that’s all I’ve finished in fabric. I’m working on embellishing a bunch of crazy quilt blocks that I made last year. I’m hoping to get through all of them by the end of the year. I’m sure that I’ll be working on other things throughout the year as well, including a cathedral windows tutorial that uses black fabric as the background and batiks as the window fabrics.

I have actually finished a fairly large rag quilt for my brother (he requested it in December but I told him he’d have to wait till after the holidays!)

Technically 1 finish over New Years weekend. As for started within 2012? Nope, but I am about to finish the top of a quilt and am going to try some hand quilting and embellishing for the 1st time ever. I have an idea of what I want to do, so it should be fun. Have been making scarves with as pattern I found on Pinterest. Scarves are so popular right now that I decided to make them for all my girlfriends and sisters. Have had requests to purchase them but want to just make them for the special ladies in my life.
I have finished a T-shirt quilt, 4 mug rugs, 6 baby quilts and 12 receiving blankets. Nearly have 20 of the little new born knit hats done.

I’m so proud of myself. I set a goal to finish 4-5 Baltimore album blocks this month and I’ve finished 5 and am on track to finish one more tomorrow evening. Now if only I could apply that resolve to going to the gym…..

So far 2012 has brought the finish of my remodeled sewing area. Now I am ready to start a new quilt. I have been gathering fabrics for Plentiful Posies quilt. (And I might add that your fabrics would look beautiful in it.) I do have 2 quilt tops that are finished from last year that need to be sandwiched and quilted.

How many finishes…how many starts…numbers the same. But, I have worked on twos UFO quilts. I had a little thing done with my knee…and just don’t make it down the steps to the sewing room like I should. I did start and finish a beautiful Tooth Fairy pillow for my grandson. Got it done in the nick of time, delivered it on Friday, and on Saturday he finally consented to daddy pulling it out…now is anxiously awaiting the next loose tooth.
I haven’t finished anything yet, but I’ve got lots of WIPs and some new starts. And I love batiks! Thanks to you and Jackie for the chance to win.
I love batiks! I made a pinwheel baby quilt for a silent auction fundraiser from beginning to finished in January. I have also made headway on a couple of projects that are ready to be layered and quilted but I have a princess dress to make for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday first.

These batiks are GORGEOUS! What a fun giveaway! I just finished a reversible small quilt (35 x 35 in.) with a Valentine’s Design on one side & floral starburst on the other. I’m working on little twirly skirts for my great nieces now! My teenage girls have to wait on their skirts. Tiny twirly skirts are MUCH more fun! LOL!

Hi. I loooove batiks! I made a quilt for my daughter’s bed with them and it is the most vibrant quilt I have ever made. Anyway, in 2012 I have exactly one finish! I bartered a quilt with my manicurist and delivered it to her on Tuesday. She loved it so much that she gave me extra credit! I have a few more appointments to go, yay me! I have been participating in a couple online challenges which has given me incentive to finish things. So far in 2012 I’ve finished 3 baby quilts (one started in late December), a wall hanging, and two (non-quilted) window treatments. Hooray!
what a great giveaway. The batiks always OOOH me, but for some reason I rarely buy them. They are really lovely though! I have had two quilt ‘finishes’ so far this year. One is an 80×80 postage stamp quilt, and one is a 40×40 baby quilt. I have a 70×70 kaleidoscope quilt basted and ready to quilt today, so that will be a third :)

I finished a set of matching totes and zipper pouches! Of course, I have a quilt top missing a border and pieces cut for a tablet keeper that are still staring at me accusingly….
So far, I have finished 4 quilt tops, one cushion, one bag, and 2x 25″ blocks for my Swoon quilt. I’m pretty happy with that. :)
No finish for 2012 – yet. I do have a quilt top waiting for borders this weekend and hopefully by early February the quilt will adorn my reading chair. There is fabric selected for 3 more just waiting.
Jackie does have an eye for color. I love the bundle!

My only finish this year is a 12 X 12 quilt. I have a pillow that is quilted, it just needs backing and binding. I’ve been busy cutting out a queen size quilt for my bed. This is my biggest project yet! I’m trying not to look at the “big picture” and take it one block at a time.

I really love those bright colored batiks! I have been gathering some for a while now. So far in 2012, I have made and finished two baby boy quilts and a quilt-as-you-go table runner. I have finished a mug rug, a table mat, a baby quilt, and a wallhanging. Wow, I felt like I’d finished nothing, but once I thought about it, it’s not so bad!
Those Batiks are just beautiful! I have finished 1 quilt top, well it was finished until I got some big idea that I was going to turn the tumbling hourglasses into butterfly’s. I may change my mind and may not make them butterflies though…I have also made a mug cozy and a mug rug.

I’ve been on a roll this month. I’ve finished 5 things. Sounds like a lot but most of them were simple, easy finishes on some wall hangings. But 2 of them were quilting and binding on 2 large baby quilts. I hope I can keep the pace up throughout the year…LOL

I am just starting back into sewing and quilting, as I have a grand-daughter on the way! I put my quilting on “hold” when I was a single mother with young children who re-entered the workplace. Wonderful giveaway. As someone new to quilting, I hope to finish only 3 or 4 quilts this year.
I wish I had some finishes to talk about, but so far 2012 has been finish free. Soon. In the meantime, I’ve been starting tons of projects that will be finished someday. Maybe.
Those would go Awesomely with the yardage I just bought at a local shop, as a focus fabric! I like Jackie’s give-aways because it helps me to expand my blog reads…like I really need to spend more time reading blogs.

So far this year I’ve only finished a new wallet and check book cover for myself. I am halfway done with a new tree skirt and an advent calendar….with the hope that they both will be completed by Christmas!
I have finished one quilt and sent four off to the quilter this month, my big project at the moment is reorganizing and rearranging my sewing room. Once it is done I can get back to finishing my projects. Thank you for the chance to win the batiks, I love them.

I confess that I have zero finishes so far this year :-( But, I’m like a snail (or a turtle) — slow and steady will win the race. :-D
the only thing I have “finished” this year is a doll blanket for my 8yr old’s new american girl doll, three quilt tops, and one back (so I could take to the longarmer to quilt. I also have another quilt top cut out and strips sewn, now to start cutting again.
I’ve had one queen sized finish this year.

First of all, I LOVE the colors of the fabrics! I’ve finished a small cross-stitch, a pair of sock (and am almost done with a second pair), a queen size Spin Wheels quilt and a whole cloth quilt (60″x60″). I quilted the whole cloth quilt between Christmas and New Years, but put on the binding and washed out the markings this year.
I’ve followed your blog for a while now, and you always inspire me to try to do more. :)

I had two lap quilts I had to quilt for a giveaway the second week of January. Got them done. I’ve been piecing fleece blankets, not a favorite thing to do but I really want to use up all my leftovers from robes and PJs from this Christmas and years past. I just hate to throw away good fabric. So far I’ve made 10 blankets, mostly crib and throw sized. I also bound 3 crib quilts and hope to get one more bound this weekend. It’s been a productive month. I have done a couple owl zipper bags in the hoop and some teddy bears in the hoop. I also completed the first clue in a mystery quilt that I, my mother, my daughter, and my sister-in-law are doing together. Batiks are my favorite fabric type so I hope I win! :)

Those batiks make my mouth water! I have finished one sample for a class, a little sewing bag, a couple of thread-catcher pincushions, a couple of friendship exhange blocks, and a few quilted pillows. Cleaned up the sewing room, organized my UFOs, then hid them underneath the window seat. :)

I have finished sewing 15 pieces of cloth pantyliners, 2 pad organisers, 3 cloth menstrual pads… emmmm what else, opsss 30 pieces of pocket tissue cover for my sister’s wedding… and one quilt blanket for a friend’s new born. I finished a quilt made out of the flannel receiving blankets from my grandson. I cute squares out of them, put a flannel border & back. Then just straight line quilted it. Turned out a cute memory quilt. He will be 3 shortly.
I am knitting a shawl at the moment, I have only 6 more rows to finish. Hopefully, I can finish it by end the week if only there is no interruptions.
I have 4 quilted finishes (flimsies done last year) and one done start to finish! I also have 2 older flimises pinned up and another new one pieced. I am on a roll!!!!!
My finish is a Laundry Basket Quilts Dresdan Star. So cool. Next finish is a Quiltworx Glacier Star. Totally different projects and a fun learning process!!

I’ve been knitting like crazy (so far, three hats, three scarves and two pairs of mittens) and trying to finish some round boxes and a couple of journals–but not quite there, so I guess they don’t count at all.

No finishes so far this year… I am hard at work on making a king-sized lone star quilt for my bedroom. It is quite a challenge, and so is finding time to work on it. I have three children, two school-aged and one preschooler. I’ve only been quilting for about 2 years, and so far I’ve made 3 twin-sized quilts and about a dozen table runners and wall hangings. (And of course, another half dozen or so projects in the works!) So I actually think I’m making great progress!
No finishes this year, but a very good start! Love those batiks.
I finished 3 dresses, but no quilt top. I am too annoyed with it. It has been described as a bizarre clown halloween quilt. I am ready to slice it up.
I haven’t had a finish yet but I will soon because I’m making a sampler quilt I a class that ends Feb 15.

These batiks are mouthwateringly gorgeous. So fatr only one quilt finish but hopefully a second over the weekend, an I spy quillow for a friends new grandson.

Just finished my first for 2012! A colorful crib quilt for a little boy who is due in a couple of weeks :) Now getting my hands on a bundle of beautiful batiks will be just the thing to finish the top of my daughter’s alphabet quilt ;)

I love batiks, I have finished several projects this year, I made a book holder for my hubby, a quilted frame (with pics) for my sister and I’m currently working on an elephant for my cuzin’s baby!
batiks are my all time favorite! My finish this year isn’t a quilt, but small stuffed owls (one for a diaper cake topper). The new mom
has an owl theme and I couldn’t find anything premade in her color scheme (pinks, black and white).

I rarely finish a quilt…. but that doesn’t mean I don’t love fabrics and these batiks are great! I HAVE finished a rabbit, several bears and a mouse so far this year. The next bear will be from some mohair plush that I tie-dyed.

Ahem…well…so far in 2012 I don’t have ANY finishes! Not much in the way of starts either but I did actually get some fabric washed and pressed, so I’m kinda sorta getting ready?

I am pleased and proud to report that, even with having to take my sewing machine in for servicing this month, I have four completed projects! Three are quilts (The Dark Side: Modern Churn Dash, Bunny Trails, and Fish Tank)and one is a sweet peasant blouse for my daughter.

I have no finishes for this year. These fabrics are amazing…and I want to wear them! Just gorgeous.
I love these batiks! The colors are great! I finished three blocks for a crazy quilt round robin, but that’s all I’ve finished in fabric. I’m working on embellishing a bunch of crazy quilt blocks that I made last year. I’m hoping to get through all of them by the end of the year. I’m sure that I’ll be working on other things throughout the year as well, including a cathedral windows tutorial that uses black fabric as the background and batiks as the window fabrics.

I have actually finished a fairly large rag quilt for my brother (he requested it in December but I told him he’d have to wait till after the holidays!)

Oh, what beautiful batiks!! :-) So far, in 2012, I have completed one quilt top (tumbler with appliqued border), and am working on completing a block-of-the-month that I started last year and just got behind on— also, a-long-time-ongoing project- Let Sleeping Cats Lie. I have not finished anything yet, but have started several projects! I am making a string quilt to donate to a charity and am making a scrappy throw sized quilt plus i just started a mystery quilt with my quilt guild! Love the batiks!

Technically 1 finish over New Years weekend. As for started within 2012? Nope, but I am about to finish the top of a quilt and am going to try some hand quilting and embellishing for the 1st time ever. I have an idea of what I want to do, so it should be fun. And hey, it will be hanging in my own home, so although less than perfect, I’ll still enjoy it.

i haven’t finished ANYTHING yet this year. i have barely done any sewing. need to get it in gear. i did get some piecing done on my french braid quilt last week. it is all blues from very dark to almost white. i really like th color progression.

I’ve been doing little things (wallets for tea bags) and started an online challenge of an art quilt per week … my count so far this year is at 10. No UFOs yet in 2012!

I have had zero finishes this year – unless you count the knitting project I just finished this weekend. (it required a bit of sewing – I added zippers to some pillow covers)
Have been making scarves with as pattern I found on Pinterest. Scarves are so popular right now that I decided to make them for all my girlfriends and sisters. Have had requests to purchase them but want to just make them for the special ladies in my life.
I have finished a T-shirt quilt, 4 mug rugs, 6 baby quilts and 12 receiving blankets. Nearly have 20 of the little new born knit hats done.

I’m so proud of myself. I set a goal to finish 4-5 Baltimore album blocks this month and I’ve finished 5 and am on track to finish one more tomorrow evening. Now if only I could apply that resolve to going to the gym…..
No finishes so far but just started the basting of a disappearing nine patch quilt.
Oh I love batiks! I’m currently working on a Liberated Log Cabin in bztiks. The colours are stunning! No finishes so far this year except for a potholder!

So far 2012 has brought the finish of my remodeled sewing area. Now I am ready to start a new quilt. I have been gathering fabrics for Plentiful Posies quilt. (And I might add that your fabrics would look beautiful in it.) I do have 2 quilt tops that are finished from last year that need to be sandwiched and quilted.
I have had 3 finishes so far for 2012. They were all small quilts but they were still finishes :) Thanks for the opportunity to enter your great giveaway!

How many finishes…how many starts…numbers the same. But, I have worked on twos UFO quilts. I had a little thing done with my knee…and just don’t make it down the steps to the sewing room like I should. I did start and finish a beautiful Tooth Fairy pillow for my grandson. Got it done in the nick of time, delivered it on Friday, and on Saturday he finally consented to daddy pulling it out…now is anxiously awaiting the next loose tooth.
I haven’t finished anything yet, but I’ve got lots of WIPs and some new starts. And I love batiks! Thanks to you and Jackie for the chance to win.
I love batiks! I made a pinwheel baby quilt for a silent auction fundraiser from beginning to finished in January. I have also made headway on a couple of projects that are ready to be layered and quilted but I have a princess dress to make for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday first.

These batiks are GORGEOUS! What a fun giveaway! I just finished a reversible small quilt (35 x 35 in.) with a Valentine’s Design on one side & floral starburst on the other. I’m working on little twirly skirts for my great nieces now! My teenage girls have to wait on their skirts. Tiny twirly skirts are MUCH more fun! LOL!
These batiks are absolutely fabulous. I haven’t quilted it yet but I finished the top for my Layer Cake Quilt-a-Long from Moose on the Porch Quilts. I’m also up to date on all of my various quilt-a-long projects!!
