  1. Whoo Hoo! I’m the first commenter.

Sadly I have finished nothing so far this year. Hopefully this weekend I will change that. Small kiddos plus a few weekends full of house guests puts a crimp in sewing time.

  2. I doesn’t work at the moments at (quilt)projects because I have troubles with my schoulder and neck. I hope I will at least finish 3 quilts this year.

  3. I absolutely LOVE batiks. I have two patterns just waiting for the perfect batiks — THESE :-)

  4. lovely colors.. finishes? none so far but here it is summer and the weather calls for time outside.

  5. No finishes yet!! But I love that fabric. You are right, after visiting the shop, she really DOES have an eye for color!!

  6. I’m steadily working toward my first finish of the year! Hope to be finished in the next week with a full size quilt (the mystery quilt “Orca Bay” by Bonnie Hunter).
    Beautiful fabrics!

  7. I have also ‘liked’ the shop on face book and find that I really LIKE her page there.

  8. I LOVE those Batiks! I’m VERY new to quilting so I haven’t had the pleasure of sewing with Batiks yet, but I think I may have to change that . . . real soon! :o)

  9. I’ve had one finish. I posted it on my blog. I finished a baby quilt that I used as a practice piece for my new sewing machine. I worked on finding the quarter inch, using a walking foot, and free motion quilting. Thanks for the chance to win.

  10. Hi. I loooove batiks! I made a quilt for my daughter’s bed with them and it is the most vibrant quilt I have ever made. Anyway, in 2012 I have exactly one finish! I bartered a quilt with my manicurist and delivered it to her on Tuesday. She loved it so much that she gave me extra credit! I have a few more appointments to go, yay me! Anyway, thanks for hosting this giveaway, I totally appreciate it!

  11. These Batiks are so cute.
I have 1 finished thing, a little Lunchbag for my daughter. You can see it on my blog.

  12. I’ve%20only%20had%20one%20finish%20so%20far%20this%20year!%20another%20Keyka%20Lou%20bag!

  13. I have been participating in a couple online challenges which has given me incentive to finish things. So far in 2012 I’ve finished 3 baby quilts (one started in late December), a wall hanging, and two (non-quilted) window treatments. Hooray!

  14. what a great giveaway. The batiks always OOOH me, but for some reason I rarely buy them. They are really lovely though! I have had two quilt ‘finishes’ so far this year. One is an 80×80 postage stamp quilt, and one is a 40×40 baby quilt. I have a 70×70 kaleidoscope quilt basted and ready to quilt today, so that will be a third :)

  15. The batiks are so pretty. I have had several small craft finishes so far (3) but today I’m putting the binding on a queen quilt. That will be my first BIG one of the year. Thanks for the giveaway.

  16. No finishes yet, though I’m close–finishing up my first bed-sized quilt (and second quilt ever!) for my son–I originally hoped to have it done for Christmas–now I’m aiming for Valentine’s Day–just a little more hand quilting to do, and then binding.

    Beautiful bundle–hope I win–those are my colors!!

  17. I have only finished small stuff because of sickness. I hope to do at least two quilts this year. I have them started. thanks for a beautiful give a way.

  18. well…not a total finish, but i did get all the original blocks done for four quilts of the starry night mystery bom wish upon a quilt had last year. thanks for the opportunity and have a great day

  19. I’ve finished a birthday present (can’t say what it is because she will see this) and have finished piecing a table cloth …now have to quilt it!

  20. I have had no finishes yet as I’m a new quilter waiting to get started :) Trying to learn and gather supplies, but I really can’t wait to start quilting.

  21. What beautiful fabric! I’ve had three finishes this month, with two more getting closer. Thanks for the giveaway! :0)

  22. I was subscribed to Jackie’s newsletter already. I love these batiks! Batiks have been my fabric favorite for many years.

  23. LOVE those Batiks!!! Unfortunately, I have done no “finishes” yet for 2012……yet. I’ve got 3 projects in the works and am hoping to get at least 1 of them finished this weekend…..I hope . :)

  24. I also liked Canton Village on facebook! I was a little unclear on if to post separate entries for facebook and the newsletter since it says leave a comment for each. So if my assumption was wrong, please delete this comment. :)

  25. I love batiks! I have finished one item this year – an apron. Hopefully more will get done! thanks!

  26. I’ve been a subscriber to Jackie’s newsletter for about a year now, and I’ve already “liked” her shop as well. :)

  27. Do quilt tops count as finishes?? If so I completed my first quilt top of 2012 yesterday. Have never worked with batiks but would love the chance!

  28. I finished a set of matching totes and zipper pouches! Of course, I have a quilt top missing a border and pieces cut for a tablet keeper that are still staring at me accusingly….

  29. So far, I have finished 4 quilt tops, one cushion, one bag, and 2x 25″ blocks for my Swoon quilt. I’m pretty happy with that. :)

  30. No finish for 2012 – yet. I do have a quilt top waiting for borders this weekend and hopefully by early February the quilt will adorn my reading chair. There is fabric selected for 3 more just waiting.

Jackie does have an eye for color. I love the bundle!

  31. No finishes yet. I am still doing the highlight hand quilting on a quilt I started this time last year that I have put down way too many times, now I have to finish it

  32. Hi Amy I have had 2 finishes in 2012. I picked a word for this year and it is I have been staying with it….beautiful fabrics you are so right Jackie does have a wonderful eye for color…

  33. My only finish this year is a 12 X 12 quilt. I have a pillow that is quilted, it just needs backing and binding. I’ve been busy cutting out a queen size quilt for my bed. This is my biggest project yet! I’m trying not to look at the “big picture” and take it one block at a time.

  34. I have 1 finish it was a quick and easy table runner. Now I have started a wedding ring quilt. Thanks for the chance.

  35. Oh, I’m signed up for Jackie’s newsletter already. No Facebook account for me though! Somehow, I just never got into the whole Facebook thing.

  36. One finish so far! I didn’t do as much as I hoped last year so I’m happy for a nice start.

  37. I haven’t had any quilt finishes this year yet, but I have finished a purse and I’ve been learning how to crochet :) These batiks are beautiful! I don’t have any in my stash yet.

  38. I have 5 finishes so far this year :) Now that’s my usual year, but I have a new long arm, so I’m really motivated to get things on the frame :)

  39. I haven’t finished anything yet this year, but I am working on. Scrappy Dresden plate in Halloween fabrics.

  40. I am happy to say that I have 7 finishes so far. I am working through a long, long list of UFOs trying to get them done to a reasonable number before starting more projects. Very hard to do lol.

  41. I have finished hand quilting a queen size quilt this month..some cushion covers and a wallhanging…plus practicing my FMQ for the challenge.

  42. I already am a follower of Jackie’s blog too. Thanks for the giveaway. Those fabrics are gorgeous.

  43. Sadly – no finishes yet this year. I am making good progress on a quilt and two matching throw pillows, though, that are a gift for a good friend. I finished the quilt top and am in the process of piecing the back…. Hopefully I’ll have my first finish soon! Thanks for the chance to win!

  44. I really love those bright colored batiks! I have been gathering some for a while now. So far in 2012, I have made and finished two baby boy quilts and a quilt-as-you-go table runner. I have two more baby quilt tops done and ready to be quilted and a little Valentine hanging that just needs the binding hand stitched. I am already Jackie’s friend on FB.

  45. You’re joking, right?????????? Finishes? I do have 3 flimsies finished – I just don’t know when they’ll become actual quilts. Soon, I hope. There are other projects I’d like to get started on. Thanks and I could really use these batiks to finish my son’s quilt’s back.

  46. Jackie is always one of my “go-to” shops for great batiks to add to my already massive collection. They are my favorite fabrics to work with. I don’t yet have any of the batiks in this giveaway so I would love to add them to my collection.

  47. I am a follower and enjoy your blog :)
I have had only one finish in 2012 and that was a late Christmas Gift :) Have two on the table though!

  48. I have finished a mug rug, a table mat, a baby quilt, and a wallhanging. Wow, I felt like I’d finished nothing, but once I thought about it, it’s not so bad!

  49. Those Batiks are just beautiful! I have finished 1 quilt top, well it was finished until I got some big idea that I was going to turn the tumbling hourglasses into butterfly’s. I may change my mind and may not make them butterflies though…I have also made a mug cozy and a mug rug.

  50. the best start to my year: I have completed 3 quilts and am working to finish another. Australia day holiday helped today.

  51. I would love to win these beautiful fabrics, thank you for offering them. I just retired so have been prolific at finishing projects, 3 baby quilts, 2 lap quilts (machine quilted) and one single bed size which just needed the binding!

  52. So far, winning the race with 1. Yet, one more may qualify as I’ll finish when teaching my class, so it’s a “done” sample. Yep! I’m a speed demon.

  53. Welllll it depends on what you mean by finished? I finished marking my wholecloth quilt and currently have it loaded on my frame and am about 1/3 finished. Those fabrics are gorgeous!

  54. I have 1 finish so far… not yet quilted. I also have made a bunch of cute little bags so I could feel like I was accomplishing something.

  55. How lovely! I have had three quilt finishes…made three zippered pouches, and finished the largest quilt top I’ve ever made…it’s down at the LAQ! =)

Thanks for a chance to win!

  56. How lovely! So far I’ve finished three quilts, 3 zippered pouches and a large top which is down at the LAQ! Thanks for a chance to win!

  57. I also get her newsletter…sorry for the duplicates above…it said there was an error and I needed to do it again….you can delete one.

  58. I just put the last border on my 90″ x 90″ Vintage Star (by Marsha McCloskey), yesterday! I even pieced a back & made the binding. Now I have to save up until I can get it machine quilted.

  59. I have finished a huge, crocheted afghan (Christmas present – oops!) for my very tall son. He didn’t have anything that could cover his shoulders and feet at the same time – now he does :-) I have also finished two very small sewing projects (Tufted Pincushion and Snappy Ruffled Pouch). Now on to something bigger! Thanks for the great giveaway!

  60. Great giveaway to add to my batik stash! I have no finishes for 2012 yet but am in two UFO challenges so SOMETHING must get completed by the end of the month or I’m in trouble!

  61. I signed up for Canton Village Quilt Works’ newsletter – thanks for the extra chances to win!

  63. I’ve been on a roll this month. I’ve finished 5 things. Sounds like a lot but most of them were simple, easy finishes on some wall hangings. But 2 of them were quilting and binding on 2 large baby quilts. I hope I can keep the pace up throughout the year…LOL

PS. I love Batiks and those are my favorite colors!!!

  64. Oh,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I don’t think I’ve FINISHED any quilts in 2012 but I’ve added a label to a quilt that has been waiting for it for a long time! And I finished a block for a Japan block exchange so shall I say 2 things!

  69. Beautiful fabric! I have a lot of little finished for 2012…the biggest project was to get the little finishes posted on my Etsy store, which is now done :)

  75. No finishes yet. :-( but I’m working on it in baby steps. I have been gathering up my UFO’s and have taken pictures of each and made a list.
I guess you “could” say I finished one thing – I finished a swap for postage stamp 2″ fabric and mailed my pack yesterday. I only swapped 100 but look forward to seeing what is on it’s way to me.
Love the batiks – they look so vibrant. :-)
thank you for the chance to win.

  76. I haven’t had a finish this year (YET), unless you count finishing up my 30′s and turning 40 on the 14th…. LOL. I will, however, have a finish this weekend as I finish sewing a “comfort quilt” top and send it on to the person who will be quilting it… :)

  77. Love Jackie and her blog. Check into who she is bloging often and have seen your page also, love them all.

  78. I’ve finished 2 art quilts and 1 baby quilt. Another art quilt in progress, a t-shirt quilt waiting to be done and a UFO that might get finished today.

  80. I am just starting back into sewing and quilting, as I have a grand-daughter on the way! I put my quilting on “hold” when I was a single mother with young children who re-entered the workplace. Now I’m still working but my young children are grown, so I’m looking forward to making special things for my grandchildren. Love the colors in this bundle and would love to be the winner!

  81. No quilts finished yet. But I have finished knitting a few scarves, and managed to mop my floors. (Truthfully, I finish quilts more often than I mop the floors, so it is a bigger deal than it sounds.). Thanks for the opportunity to win.

Sometimes my quilting is a journey, not a destination? (My excuse for having so many UFOs.)

  138. I’m already a subscriber to Jackie’s newsletter. Thanks for the chance to win.

  139. I had two lap quilts I had to quilt for a giveaway the second week of January. Got them done. I’ve been piecing fleece blankets, not a favorite thing to do but I really want to use up all my leftovers from robes and PJs from this Christmas and years past. I just hate to throw away good fabric. So far I’ve made 10 blankets, mostly crib and throw sized. I also bound 3 crib quilts and hope to get one more bound this weekend. It’s been a productive month. Thanks for asking.

  140. I have finished two table runners, almost done with a baby donation quilt and have several blocks and other tops ready to quilt.I am having a lot of fun using up stash materials and look forward to maybe buying new in December????

  142. I have done a couple owl zipper bags in the hoop and some teddy bears in the hoop. I also completed the first clue in a mystery quilt that I, my mother, my daughter, and my sister-in-law are doing together. Batiks are my favorite fabric type so I hope I win! :)

  143. I love the colors and batiks are a favorite of mine..I’ve made 2 chalk fabric quilted placemats for granddaughters. Been working on knitting beanies for my sons.

  144. I love batiks. Would love to win this bundle. I haven’t ever won anything from a give away but there is always hope. I have finished 1 full sized Rail Fence quilt. 2 mini quilts for aunts’ birthdays. I did free motion quilting (stippling) on the mini quilts as practice. I am getting better all the time. I started quilting last June and it is my passion. I have been searching for my passion all my life and finally found it!!!

  145. Those batiks are beautiful! I haven’t finished anything this year, but I’ve made a couple good starts and plan to have 2 finishes by the end of the month. And I suppose I could say I have finished the December BOM block – but there’s still a long way to go for that quilt to be a finish :)

  147. I’m really on a roll this year. So far I have made a sewing machine cover, sewing case, 3 mini Christmas cushions, 2 mini Christmas hangers, 2 hats and by the end of the weekend will have finished a mug rug! I love holiday time but it’s back to reality next week!

  148. I finished most of my projects last year. I still have a few ufos, but I have started two new quilts. I’m a better starter than I am a finisher lol.

  149. Those batiks are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. They are the perfect combination of colors. I finished a framed quilted heart for my Valentine decor for this year. I am working on a special mystery quilt that will take most of this year to do.

  151. No finishes yet. In Oz we go back to school next week…thats when I’ll be able to get into the sewing room! Beautiful fabrics by the way!

  152. Those batiks make my mouth water! I have finished one sample for a class, a little sewing bag, a couple of thread-catcher pincushions, a couple of friendship exhange blocks, and a few quilted pillows. Cleaned up the sewing room, organized my UFOs, then hid them underneath the window seat. :)

  153. I love those batiks so much! I have been taking a Judy Neimeyer class taught by Jackie and am absolutely loving it! Jackie is a fantastic teacher!

I have had two Deli tote finishes in 2012 so far!

  156. What beautiful colors! I have one lonely finish this year so far.But I have lots of things in the works right now. Hopefully another finish soon! Thanks for having the giveaway!

  157. Finishes?! I’m just hoping to get a start this coming weekend. I’m so behind the ball. *sigh*

The colors in these batiks are stunningly rich!

  158. I have finished the top of a sampler wall hanging. I guess it would not be quite finished because I still need to back, quilt and bind but it is close.

  159. Finish anything?? Not likely – just keep buying fabric and getting ideas for more projects! Just got some of the Moda Tropicana charms, so these would go great so I can make my first batik quilt! Thanks!

  160. I haven’t had a chance to finish any quilts yet this year. My year so far has been filled with bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses and western show clothing getting ready for a local fashion show to be held Mar.1 in Roosevelt, UT. You can bet as soon as that is over I will be quilting again!!

  161. I have nothing completely finished – one quilt pieced, boardered and sandwiched, ready to quilt. Having hand surgery tomorrow so it won’t be finished this weekend!!!

  162. I have finished 1 jean quilt so far this year. I am hoping to start and finish at least 2 more quilts. I love the batiks they are such a wonderful array of colors.

  163. No quilts finished so far this year; I need to tidy the craft room first as it’s a tip! I have finished knitting one sock though and hope to get the second one finished in the next week or so.

  164. So far I don’t have any finishes….I do have one that I need to quilt together. That’s about it. Great give away!!!

  165. I%20have%20had%202%20finishes%20so%20far.%20One%20was%20a%20wool%20ornament%20and%20the%20other%20was%20a%20punchneedle%20door%20know%20hanger.

  167. I finished a large lap quilt, a small lap quilt, and a table runner so far. I have 3 more runners almost done, and need to do 2 more quilts that are started. I did lots of alterations for my mom, too. The colors on the batiks are lovely and need to be in my stash! Thanks.

  168. I don’t have any finishes yet, but I hope to have many this year, lots of WIP’s.

  169. I haven’t finished a quilt yet but have 2 almost there. Thank you for the great giveaway.

  170. Sadly, no finishes yet – this month kinda got away from me. But I’ll do better in February. Yeah, right!

  171. Such gorgeous batik fabric, thanks for sharing. I haven’t finished a project this year, just starting more

  172. I subscribe to Jackie’s newsletter – that’s how i found out about this.
Alas, no finishes yet, but I’m doing a big clean out of sewing stuff. Then I’ll really start stitching! :)

  173. Jackie has such super batiks (and other fabric too… though batiks are my passion) — I’ve gotten lots of goodies from her, and if I ever hit the lottery that’ll be my first stop!
So far this year, finished one lap quilt, a little (30″ square) quilt for one of my cats, and a mug rug.

  174. Thank you for the chance to win. Since Jan 1 2012 I have finished.

    4. Then have completed January steps for a few different BoM’s.

  175. Nothing finished, but lots to work on. That’s all I really need to keep me happy! They’ll all get there eventually.

  176. I have not had any yet. I’m working on a memory blanket out of my baby’s clothes he’s already outgrown. I’m loving it!

  177. Hi! No finishes yet, sorry, but my first quilt (for my son) will be done before his birthday in May. I would love to win these gorgeous batiks for my next quilt – thanks for a chance!

  178. I have finished sewing 15 pieces of cloth pantyliners, 2 pad organisers, 3 cloth menstrual pads… emmmm what else, opsss 30 pieces of pocket tissue cover for my sister’s wedding… and one quilt blanket for a friend’s new born. Quite a lot, maybe because of the additional hi-speed machine in my sewing corner.
    Thanks for the chance.

  179. the giveaway fabrics are really vibrant. I went on a weekend retreat right after the new year and completed 4 BOM quilta and a chinese Twin top.

  180. 2 finishes ! Both for my dog. He had back surgery and his hair hasn’t grown back so I have to make him fuzzy capes!

  182. You were the first blog I followed and the second one was Jackie’s.

  183. OOOO SOOO PRETTY I LUV THIS FABRIC!!!!!!!!!!!All ur cloths are pretty this would be great for my quilt im making!!!!:D

  184. I finished a quilt made out of the flannel receiving blankets from my grandson. I cute squares out of them, put a flannel border & back. Then just straight line quilted it. Turned out a cute memory quilt. He will be 3 shortly.

  185. I am knitting a shawl at the moment, I have only 6 more rows to finish. Hopefully, I can finish it by end the week if only there is no interruptions.

  188. quilting finishes? *whispering* none…

I’ve been knitting like crazy (so far, three hats, three scarves and two pairs of mittens) and trying to finish some round boxes and a couple of journals–but not quite there, so I guess they don’t count at all.

  189. Jackie carries a ton of wonderful fabrics and she makes so many great – bright! – projects. I love these batiks – just my colours.
So far, I’ve got 2 finishes in 2012

  191. Beautiful fabrics! I have been dreaming of making a leaf-inspired batik scarf… this would get me started! This year has been a productive one so far. I have finished a few pillow shams and two valance curtains. I am trying to start the year strong!

  192. Love a good fabric giveaway! Let’s see – finished projects. Two for sure with the Project QUILTING Challenges…trying to think if I finished anything else…hmmm…not thinking so. I’m going to stick with TWO!

    Cheryl from WillSewForChocolate

  195. Love the fabric and even though i am in the hospital with a blood. Clot in my lung, the beautiful fabric put a smile on my face thank you

  196. No finishes so far this year… I am hard at work on making a king-sized lone star quilt for my bedroom. It is quite a challenge, and so is finding time to work on it. I have three children, two school-aged and one preschooler. I’ve only been quilting for about 2 years, and so far I’ve made 3 twin-sized quilts and about a dozen table runners and wall hangings. (And of course, another half dozen or so projects in the works!) So I actually think I’m making great progress!

  197. I finished 3 dresses, but no quilt top. I am too annoyed with it. It has been described as a bizarre clown halloween quilt. I am ready to slice it up.

  198. I haven’t finished any projects yet this year – hey, it’s only January, yet! :) I already subscribe to Jackie’s newsletter and like her on FB.

  199. 1-26-12
Have no projects finished in 1912, but have been making plans.
Have never entered for a give-away before here or anywhere.
My daughter and I both totally like batiks. They are beautiful.[My daughter is great at tie-dying however.] Thanks.

  200. Not quite done yet, but on the way. Your choices of this fabric is sensational. I love the colors and am already imagining it as a project.

  201. I have finished two quilts so far this year. The first was a class sample for January 2012 – a dispapearing nine patch an the other a king size UFO which is about five years old. I am very pleased with how this one turned out.

  202. No finishes yet, but I’m making progress on several quilts-in-progress, so I’m feeling good about 2012.

  203. They are mellowing, awaiting more fabric as it happens and guess what…?
Coincidentally these colours would fit right in and ENABLE me to finish one! ( …or start another lol)

  219. Wow, I haven’t even had a start, let alone a finish. I have 2 quilts waiting..both batiks!

  220. I haven’t finished the quilt I am currently working on but do have 1 finished from last year. I have about 3 ufos on hand that I will (hopefully) finish this year. Love the batiks and it looks like I have two new sites to look at also. Win win situation!

  221. Batik fabrics are my favorite. I just can’t get enough of them. So colorful. Thanks for the chance to win. I haven’t had much time for sewing lately because I take care of my elderly parents. Elaine

  222. I have not finished any projects yet. I have many things started but life always gets in the way. Have no fear, there are still 11 months left. I am sure something will get done. LOL Thanks for the chance to win your giveaway. The colours are fantastic.

  229. I rarely finish a quilt…. but that doesn’t mean I don’t love fabrics and these batiks are great! I HAVE finished a rabbit, several bears and a mouse so far this year. The next bear will be from some mohair plush that I tie-dyed.
Please enter me in your drawing.. and I will wait with crossed fingers and will plan a tiny bear sized quilt from the batiks!

I’m working on embellishing a bunch of crazy quilt blocks that I made last year. I’m hoping to get through all of them by the end of the year. I’m sure that I’ll be working on other things throughout the year as well, including a cathedral windows tutorial that uses black fabric as the background and batiks as the window fabrics.

  261. I have no finishes yet this year, though I do have a lot of starts! I will have a few finishes soon as I am making goodies for a baby shower. Then I need to finish the binding on a quilt I made for my daughter…in December…bad Mommy!!!

  262. I’ve been looking through quilting books/blogs, but have yet to dive in and start my first quilting project. These fabrics look like a great starting point for my first project — if I win. ;)

    Thanks for doing this give-away!

  263. I haven’t completed any projects yet this year but I did sew together the blocks from a BOM I started in 1998! I hope it doesn’t take me 14 years to get it quilted. Thanks for the giveaway; the batiks are gorgeous!

  265. I have actually finished a fairly large rag quilt for my brother (he requested it in December but I told him he’d have to wait till after the holidays!)

Oh, what beautiful batiks!! :-) So far, in 2012, I have completed one quilt top (tumbler with appliqued border), and am working on completing a block-of-the-month that I started last year and just got behind on— also, a-long-time-ongoing project- Let Sleeping Cats Lie. 297. Technically 1 finish over New Years weekend. As for started within 2012? Nope, but I am about to finish the top of a quilt and am going to try some hand quilting and embellishing for the 1st time ever. I have an idea of what I want to do, so it should be fun. And hey, it will be hanging in my own home, so although less than perfect, I’ll still enjoy it.

  298. Those batiks are gorgeous colors.

I have not finished anything yet this year. I’m sure hoping to change that in the next week. I must get a bunch of stuff finished for our Granddaughter who is due to arrive in the next two weeks.

  299. I am already signed up for Jackie’s newsletter.

Thank you for the giveaway and to Jackie as well for her awesome eye for color and giveaway.

  300. Well, if I waited until tomorrow afternoon I’d be able to say one giant finish, but right now it is still a big, fat zero. And a growing pile of WIPs. :/

  301. i haven’t finished ANYTHING yet this year. i have barely done any sewing. need to get it in gear. i did get some piecing done on my french braid quilt last week. it is all blues from very dark to almost white. i really like th color progression.

  302. I’ve been doing little things (wallets for tea bags) and started an online challenge of an art quilt per week … my count so far this year is at 10. No UFOs yet in 2012!

  314. So far 2012 has brought the finish of my remodeled sewing area. Now I am ready to start a new quilt. I have been gathering fabrics for Plentiful Posies quilt. (And I might add that your fabrics would look beautiful in it.) I do have 2 quilt tops that are finished from last year that need to be sandwiched and quilted.

  315. How many finishes…how many starts…numbers the same. But, I have worked on twos UFO quilts. I had a little thing done with my knee…and just don’t make it down the steps to the sewing room like I should. I did start and finish a beautiful Tooth Fairy pillow for my grandson. Got it done in the nick of time, delivered it on Friday, and on Saturday he finally consented to daddy pulling it out…now is anxiously awaiting the next loose tooth.

    Thanks for the giveaways!

  318. Beautiful batiks, Jackie! I haven’t finished anything for way too long…too busy running the “Beast” (my longarm). Have lots of jobs lined up which is very good.
