Craftsy Block of The Month Tour & Giveaway!

Posted on February 29th, by Amy in Block of the Month, give away. 266 comments

Welcome the Craftsy Block of the Month Tour!  It’s a great program and I’m excited to share it with you!

First, do you know about Craftsy?

Craftsy offers online courses about all of your favorite crafty topics – taught by amazing instructors. Craftsy courses are online, so they are available to you anytime you want for as long as you want – they have no scheduled class times, so you can enjoy them entirely on your own schedule. Each course is taught by an acclaimed instructor and consists of several hours of HD-quality video content… but Craftsy courses are much more than just video! While taking a Craftsy course, you can:

  • Ask your instructor questions, upload photos, and get personalized responses
  • Participate in discussions with your classmates
  • Access supporting course materials – including patterns and helpful tips & tricks
  • Bookmark your favorite moments in the video so that you can easily re-watch them and take notes that you can refer back to anytime

I love the interactive nature of Craftsy, and the a quality of product that they provide.  If you haven’t yet, set up an account and start looking around.  There are a number of classes, and occasionally a free one – like this BOM program with Amy Gibson!  The instructions are great, and you can ask questions of Amy, any time you need help.  And there’s a LOT of people making these blocks!

I took a screen shot of another great feature, you can add notes to the video privately, and jump to that spot in the video time and again, if needed.  Each month Amy will have a 30 minute video, walking quilters through two blocks, then toward the end of the year lots of finishing details, so the quilts get finished!

If you aren’t convinced to join in the fun yet, go watch the intro video on Craftsy!  I happened to meet Amy last fall at the Sewing Summit, and she’s super sweet and a lot of fun, you will enjoy working along side her each month!

Our lovely friends at Fat Quarter Shop have offered a $25 Gift Certificate for one of my readers!

  1. I’m working on the HST BOMs with Jenni at In Colour Order right now, hoping to create a baby quilt for Blankets Of Love. Thanks for the chance to win :)

  2. I’m following Amy’s BOM @craftsy only one more day before the new blocks. I can’t wait. Thanks for hosting the give away

  3. I am participating in Amy’s BM @ Two blocks a month only makes me chomp at the bit for more, more, more. I love your site, and will now be a subscriber. So many quilts to make, and so little time. Thanks for hosting Craftsy’s Blog of the Day.

  4. Amy’s BOM on Craftsy’s website is my first online BOM.I love it! In fact I can’t wait for March and am sorry that February has 29 days this year. What am I going to do with March and it’s 31 days? I just found out about the Blog Tour and I am excited to learn about other online resources. What a great time to be a “sewer”, “sewist”, or may I suggest “sewista” LOL!

  5. I’m a follower…and I’m currently enrolled in the FQS BOM. I am enrolled…but haven’t actually finished a block in about 5 months :(

  6. I have actually taken a quilting course thru Craftsy and it is awesome!! The greatest part is that I can go back and check out any of the lessons for a refresher – too sweet! This is definitely something that I would recommend for anyone be it a beginner or an experienced quilter.

  7. My first BoM is with Amy on Craftsy. She has opened me up to getting started on quilting and not to be intimating. I’ve found out it can be very dangerous to go to the fabric store!

  8. Hi and thanks for hosting a stop and the giveaway! I have always looked at Boms and thought they were too hard, but am loving Amy’s Craftsy BoM and will seek out others :-)

  9. Love Love Love your projects on Craftsy. Am now an official follower (or should that be stalker? lol )

  10. I am not taking part in any block of the months right now… I am hoping to actually finish up the Solstace Stars quiltalong at Fresh Lemon Modern Quilts, though. Thanks for the chance to win!

  11. I’m not doing any BOM projects right now but I’m interested. I think it’s a great idea and very low pressure way to get a quilt done.

  12. Well, I just completed our LQS’s yearly Saturday Sampler class (which is basically a BOM). And March starts the next year’s class, which I just signed up for…so, yes, another BOM will be beginning.

  13. Thanks for opening you blog to the BOM group. Like you “weekend pouch” project. Great gift idea.

  14. I’m doing Amy’s BOM at Craftsy and also the Just Takes 2 BOM at sentimental stitches. I love that these are both FREE!!! It’s been fun. Love your blog and this tour!

  15. I’ve sign up for “Craftsy” free BOM just 2 weeks ago and in the process of making my second quilt ever! I’m loving your blog and all the other wonderful, talented quilt blogs out in the world wide web.
Thank you for the change to win!

  16. I am working on a Kaffe BOM – I’ve completed two blocks for Jan and two blocks for Feb – so if I keep that up, I’ll have two completed quilts by the end of the year!

  17. I very recently learned about Craftsy but now I’m hooked. I’ve not only signed up for the BOM but another sewing class.

  18. I have signed up for the Craftsy BOM put haven’t started them yet. I am doing the Blogger’s BOM as well as a BOM with a yahoo group.

  19. I actually haven’t started any BOMs, but I’m part of two quilt-alongs right now which, given my snail’s pace, might as well be BOMs! LOL! Thanks for the chance!

  20. I don’t have any BOMs or QALs in my WIP stack – yet! There are a ton that I want to get into once ive finished up a few other things, though! Hanks for the chance to win!

  21. I’ve just found out about BOM *and* Craftsy, so I don’t have much to report, but I’m excited to check them both out!

  22. I’m not working on any particular block of the months projects at the moment. I am finishing up a quilt along quilt. I’m think about taking on this BOM program and if I do, I’ve got some catching up to do! :-)

Thank you for a chance to win. :-)

  23. My first and current BOM is through FQS and is so sweet! the fabric is Strawberry Fields and it makes me happy to look at it.

  24. I am quilting a BOM – LMS Birdie Stitches. Thanks for the stop. I cannot get Craftsy to work for me – have an account but cannot add the BOM or other functions. So, missed on the following you on Craftsy. Will shoot them an email since FAQs doesn’t answer the question.
Thanks for the chance to win a wonderful certificate from FQS. Your blog was one of the first I started reading when found the quilty world on the internet.

  25. I’m fairly new to Craftsy. The link you provided to follow you doesn’t work. I tried finding you and following you on Craftsy; but, I can’t figure it out. :-(

I just figured out that Craftsy is on facebook! So, I liked them on facebook. :-)

Now, to figure out how to follow you…. And, I will once I can figure it out. Promise!

    • LeeAnn, I had a rogue link trying to take over – sorry for the frustration! I fixed it and the links are working properly now. Thanks for letting me know!

  26. I signed up for the Craftsy BOM because it looks so lovely, but haven’t started working on it yet. I’m hoping I can catch up later.

  27. I’m not currently doing any BOMs but have been watching the videos and looking at the finished projects on Craftsy. Amy Gibson is great to watch, and I really enjoy checking out everyone’s blocks.

  28. I love this inspiring and creative website and the links!
Please sign me up to receive prizes in the giveaways!

  29. I am doing so many BOMs this year that I couldn’t possibly list them all here. I hope I’m able to keep up! You could check them out on my blog’s sidebar though. I am definitely doing the Craftsy BOM and already learning so much from Amy!

  30. I am enjoying this blog tour! Craftsy BOM is my very first BOM and I am enjoying it so much. Maybe I will finally follow through with a commitment! I look forward to each month’s video. Enjoy Amy’s presentations.

  31. Been working on the BOM. Love the demos for them. Very easy to follow. Can’t wait for the next ones.

  32. Blizzard and snow and stormy. Follow you and block of the mo! Signal keeps going out so just saying love to Craftsy for your class!

  33. Unfortunately, I have 14 BOM’s that I am
“working” on (maybe I have done a few blocks or maybe they are still in the package..)

  34. Hi Amy,
I’m working on 2 BOMs right now—and one of those I am doing in triplicate!
Would love to win the FQS gift certificate!

  35. Not working on any right now, but I do have a couple on my ever-growing “want to make next” list!

  36. i’m doing the craftsy bom. it’s fun, but it’s soooo long between months! =D i’m also starting aunt grace’s garden party TOMORROW. (which is really a “row of the month,” not a bom)

  37. I am loving your craftsy block of the month. I am going to start it again in another color scheme so I will have 2 quilts at the end of the year. Thanks for teaching me so much.

  38. I am currently taking the BOM on Craftsy and can not wait for March! Also enrolled in the paper piecing class by Peggy Martin on this site and love love love it!

  39. I have signed up at Craftsy and watched the bom instructions. I was very impressed with the site. I haven’t signed up for any classes yet but would like to. I am doing a bom at my lqs using 3 sisters line. I am doing 2 on flickr, the fat quarter stars with Moose on the porch and a sunny embroidery bom. But I have about 5 bom that I finished the blocks and that is all the farther I have gotten. That’s why I’m not signing up for anything right now. Thanks for your inspiring blog.

  40. Honestly right now I am not taking part in any block of the month… but I’m following it.

  41. I am not currently doing a BOM but I am doing a Mystery Quilt in three parts. I am (impatiently) waiting for Part Three, and can hardly wait to get it in the May/June issue of the magazine, finish the quilt, and discover the pattern. I love Mystery Quilts, but they do try my patience!

  42. I’m working on a double weddding ring for my nephew’s bride. I wouldn’t do all this work for just anyone, she is a sweet girl that is very tradional and will appreciate it.

  43. I am loving the way Amy is teaching this class. So easy to understand and follow. Thanks for the giveaway!

  44. I’m currently working on the Craftsy BOM course. I’m looking forward to getting to work on March’s blocks!

  45. No current Blocks of the Month for me. I made a BOM quilt several years ago and it just needs to be bound. It is sitting by my sewing table, so it is in line.

  46. I’m watching Amy’s Block of the Month videos and I’m participating in a BOM program at my local quilt shop. The local BOM is Amish with a Twist. I’m brand new to the quilting world, so I’m excited but anxious to jump in.

  47. Quilting along w/ Amy Gibson. Ready for the next two blocks March 1st! Would like to quilt along w/ the 99 Modern Blocks.

  48. I too am doing the BOM with Amy. I’m new to quilting and I’m already addicted. Can’t wait for the Mar. blocks. And thank you for the chance to win. Being new to quilting I don’t have a stash…. :-(

  49. I am doing your Craftsy Block Of The Month and I am loving it!! I got my sister to join in as well

  50. I’m not working on any BOM projects but I have been cleaning my sewing room and oh my, I have plenty of projects to get busy on. Thanks for participating in the tour.

  51. Amy’s BOM on Craftsy is the first BOM I have ever done. I love how fun she makes this class! I can’t wait to get all the blocks done.

  52. I have not joined any BOM groups yet. I am just not convinced that I could keep up or hold my own in a group, but my confidence is growing! Maybe someday soon, I will be a joiner rather than a lurker!

  53. I’m working on Sew.Happy.Geek.QAL, Moose on the Porch’s FatQuarter Star QAL and also am getting Rainbow Dear Jane BOM from twiddletails. I just signed up for the Craftsy so I need to catch up!

  54. Amy, I am following you on Craftsy. I love your quilts and your asymmetrical clutch! They are gorgeous!

  55. I am currently teaching a BOM called Pieceful Harbour at the fabric shop where I work. I am also wokring on an online BOM in blues and creams. Its going to be georgous!

  56. I am not a blogger, but have been following Craftsy’s Blog Hop and planning to make the BOM using the great tutorials. I have never done a block of the month before, but I think it’s an excellent way to learn techniques and complete a quilt at the same time. One suggestion I would give would be to make a banner of the month. I have banners in my front window celebrating the season/holiday. Most of them are ‘cheaters’ -only one is a purchased banner because I couldn’t find an appropriate cheater for St. Pat’s Day. I have used “cheaters” because it was expedient at the time. I find this is a way to celebrate the holidays/seasons and not take up valuable storage space as other projects might.

  57. Currently I am following Amy’s BOM and Quilt in a Day. Love them both. Amy your video’s are pricless. Love the lessons. I really enjoy Craftsy it is a great dite.

  58. I do follow you on Craftsy and I LOVE Craftsy. Am currently enrolled in several classes and have downloaded free projects and purchased patterns. A great resource for those of us who love all things thread!

  59. I have decided to work on the Farmers Wives Blocks for my project. May start another program when I find one I can’t live without. Craftsy has quite afew.

  60. I am currently doing Amy Gibson’s BOM of craftsy and cannot wait for March’s blocks! Am considering the Fat Quarter Shop mystery BOM.

  61. I Love Amy’s Block of the month. I am making 4 diffrent quilts in diffrent fabrics to try and keep myself busy, but its not really working cause I’ve been ready for the next block for the past 3 weeks! Thanks for the chance to win!

  62. I am really enjoying Amy’s instructions on Craftsy’s BOM class… I have had “show and tell” at work with my four finished blocks in tow (haha); my 23 yr old twin sons have “offered” their feedback, and I’ve posted pics on Craftsy and Facebook… lol think anyone will be surprised when they find these quilts under the tree at Christmas time? Thanks for hosting the giveaway and being part of the blog tour… (that is also new to me).

  63. Having a great time learning some new techniques with the BOM club. really great instruction. Easy to understand and follow. Thanks!!

  64. Currently I am following your block of the month and about to start 2 Fabric Applique from Quilt University

  65. Trying to get around to quilting the BOM, but have to finish up a couple of other projects and get the garden done first. I love the programs, and especially that I can do them according to my timetable.

  66. I’m doing the BOM with Amy Butler but not currently making any projects with the blocks. But anxious for the following month! Glad it is just one day away!

  67. Currently participating in Amy’s BOM at Craftsy. Have lots of fab fabrics collected and looking forward to working through all her blocks on through to the finishing.

Thanks for participating in the tour!

  68. I am participating in a block swap in blog land. I think it is called Bee Creative 2012. March is my month and I chose the Bento Block.

  69. I have been working on a few projects. I reaaly want to finish the pillows for my couch and really would like to make some progress on my bed quilt.

  70. I’ve been following along on Craftsy but haven’t had the nerve to cut fabrics yet. (I’ve also had other things going on that stopped me from starting in the beginning) I am hoping to get at least one of the blocks done in the next week once I finish this little quilt along I’m working on right now.

I did go over to Craftsy and start following you also. Someone had given me the gift of Jenny’s first quilt along from Missouri Star Quilt company because she won and was an experienced quilter and didn’t need that. I loved Jenny’s class and it was very well done. So far the videos from the Block of the Month are awesome and very well explained.

  71. Hi Amy! I’m enrolled in the BOM, however haven’t started them yet. I know I’m behind but am also enrolled in several of the quilting courses offered by Craftsy and enjoying them as well as learning from them. I am currently trying to finish up on the 5th of 7 quilts for my greatgrand babies then on to the BOM for my self!!

  72. I’m also doing the BOM with Amy and I’m so enjoying getting back to sewing after so many years of not sewing

  73. I already finished the first two blocks of the Craftsy Block of the Month! I also have a fabulous House and Tree Quilt along going on my blog called ‘Home Sweet Home’ inspired by a quilt Aneela Hooey made. FabricFascination’s BOM has been super fun – I ordered a kit from her. AND I’m doing the Blogger’s BOM…yup, I’m slightly obsessed with BOM’s :) Here’s my update from my progress as of last Monday:

Thanks for hosting a fabulous giveaway!

  74. I am currently enjoying the BOM with you on Craftsy. Although the blocks don’t seem to get posted soon enough for me. I am enjoying this so much that I look forward to the next class way sooner than it is ready. A friend suggested that I work on three quilts at the same time to donate to our community quilts project. And the third could be given to her. Thank you so much for offering the free class. I have referred a few ladies in our community to your free class.

  75. Well, I haven’t done any of the Craftsy BOMs yet, but did sign up! I’m in a bee, so does that count as a BOM?? I can’t wait to get to some of Amy’s blocks!

  76. Love doing the BOM, learning lots of new things, Can’t wait for the next one tomorrow!

  77. I have several BOM’s going right now. I’d say at least 4. I’m behind on most of them, but doing it with other people really motivates me to keep going!

  78. I’m thinking about doing either the New York Beauty Quilt-Along or the Perfect Points quilt-along. Other than that, I’m just working a little on various projects.

  79. I am making the block of the month each month and I am loving it! Such a great teacher which makes it all so easy. I follow along and work as she does pausing the video when needed. I have also started a quilt using one of the February blocks.

  80. Thank you for taking part in this tour. I’m working on two BOM projects right now 1 Craftsy which is so fun, 2 a local quilt shop is doing a Red Riding Hood and each month we get a new block and a small piece of fabric, they have great instructions. I am fairly new to quilting and these are great ways to learn a lot.

  81. I am not working on any BOM’s right now….just trying to finish up some things that I have already started. Would love to be entered in your giveaway. Thanks.

  82. I am all caught up on the BOM and having a blast doing it online with my cousin that live in NJ.

  83. I started following the Craftsy BOM with Amy and am having a blast! It has been so much fun so far. I have followed Quips and Snips mystery quilt, but not actually doing any sewing (I didn’t have the fabric at the time). I don’t think I will dive into any othersfor now, but am always looking for something new! :)

  84. I’m not doing any BOM’s yet, but I am interested in the Desinger Mystery quilt at the fat quarter shop. Also getting really interested in the Swoon along and New York Beauty!

  85. I do follow the craftsy blog and i do enjoy it but haven’t taken any classes yet. Waiting to get an I Pod. I have been doing the Fat Quarter Mystery Quilt BOM but I am behind.

  87. I am following you on craftsy and just signed up for the course. Cant wait to get started !!

  88. This is my first BOM, I am really looking foward to it. I think it will really motivate me to try new things. Thanks!

  89. I doing my first BOM with Craftsy & I’ve completed both the January & February blocks. Anxious for the March blocks! Thank you Amy!

  90. I have never done a BOM before, but I am going to do this Craftsy one — and I had better get busy!

  91. I am participating in the BOM and also enrolled in 2 other craftsy classes. They are great and really informative!

  92. I’m doing the BOM at Craftsy. I’ve even joined a few more from Fresh Lemon Quilts and Sew Happy Geek. I’ve never quilted before and I’m learning as I go along. I’m having a riot!

  93. Working on the BOM with Craftsy, a wonderful offering which has inspired me to sign up for another class. New to reading blogs but so far its been fun.

  94. I’m working on the Craftsy BOM and tomorrow is my day off, so I am ready to start the March blocks. I did some commercial ones years ago.

In a recent Web search, I saw a BOM based on the color wheel and theory. I’m thinking about giving it a try.

  95. I haven’t tried any BOM yet, but I would love to try fitting it in my schedule…hopefully soon.

  96. I am working on a sampler quilt and the Farmers wife and yes I am behind in my class but I will finish ;)

  97. Craftsy BOM with Amy Gibson is my first attempt at quilting. I am really enjoying the class so far – learning lots of new stuff.

  98. I’m not currently working on any BOMs, but I hope to do this one as soon as I finish up a couple more projects.

  99. I finally have my white fabric and fat quarters, I ordered from Craftsy, and won’t be babysitting next week. Dh & I watch our 3 y.o. and 3 mo old grandsons–fun but does cut into my quilting and reading time LOL

I’ve watched both Jan & Feb quilt blocks oh yes also got my 12″ square

  100. I’ve signed up for the Craftsy BOM. Enjoy the different BOMs around blogland at the moment. They are all so different

  101. I’m not doing any BOM right now, because when I looked at all my pending projects, my list for 2012 was full enough.

  102. I’m making Amy’s block-of-the-month, and will end up with a sampler quilt. ITMS loads of fun. Following you as well.

  103. I don’t currently have any block of the month projects, but I want to get into that soon. I only have 4 quilts under my belt, so I’m excited for any chance to learn new skills.

  104. Hi Amy – I’m doing three bom’s at the moment – the Blogger’s bom, modern bom, and Amy’s craftsy bom – all fabulous

  105. Hi again Amy – now following you on craftsy – you have some great projects :) thanks for the giveaway and being on the craftsy tour

  106. I hadn’t heard of that before. I’ll definitely have to check it out when I can find time. I’m not working on any BOMs at the moment as I have 3 teacher end of year quilts to get done before school is over in June.

  107. I have yet to start my craftys BOM project but I have been watching and downloading so when i complete my current project list I can get started asap. I love what they have had so far and excited to check out the March blocks today.

  108. I’m doing the Craftsy BOM and loving it. In fact, I need to check in today to see the new blocks. I’m excited! :)

  109. I’m doing the Craftsy BOM with Amy – it’s my first ever BOM. My husband has been laughing at me all month because 1st March just could NOT come quickly enough for me!

  110. I am enrolled in the your Craftsy BOM class. That is the first
BOM that I have ever done. I am doing an online QAL that has a new block every week. It is almost done and in the next couple weeks, I’ll be adding sashing and a border.

  111. I’m not doing any BOMs currently. I do have a few quilts that I’m working on — 2 baby quilts and my daughter’s bed quilt.

  112. I’m doing the craftsy BOM. Its the fist time that I have done this and I find it a little addicting. I’m now also doing a BOM with a quilt guild I just joined and looking for more BOM places.

  113. Since I started the Craftsy BOM, I have decided to do several at the same time. I am doing a BOM called Red at Night through a wonderful quilt shop in Parker, a Buck a Block through another shop, I am finishing 3 other BOMs purchased a couple of years ago, and I ordered a Christmas quilt BOM through Oxmoor House in 1997. This quilt had freezer templates for all 36 blocks, whether pieced or appliqued. I have just started doing that quilt but using the templates as a measuring guide and using what I’ve learned from Craftsy BOM and the other blocks to do a more traditional way of making the pieced blocks on that Christmas quilt. All in all, I’m doing 9 BOMs. Keeps me busy this year!

  114. I’m attempting the BOM on Craftsy, so far I’ve watched the classes, but haven’t chosen any fabrics. I’m going shopping this weekend!

  115. I am currently working on a baby quilt for our first great-grandchild – a girl. But I also plan to make the Craftsy BOM, just haven’t decided on what fabric to use.

  116. Hi Amy! I finished my January and February blocks for the Craftsy BOM class yesterday, and did my first foundation piecing block for the March installment today! It’s such a fun class!

  117. I am not currently working on a BOM, but I have signed up for this Craftsy one … as of today, I am two months behind – WWAAAAAHHH! Must get started! I love the videos! Thank you for the giveaway!

  118. I just received my first instalment of Merry Merry Snowmen from Fat Quarter Shop. Haven’t started it yet.

  119. I have too many other projects on the go to start a BOM! Unless I can find one in the LQS (mom’s excuse for a night out…shh).

  120. I have several Saturday Sampler BOM’s from my local quilt shop that need to be finished. I am considering starting another one but hesitate to start any new projects. Thanks for the chance to win. Take care and God bless, Cory

  121. I started with the Craftsy BOM with Amy. Its fun to try new blocks that I haven’t done before.

  122. This Block of The Month Tour is a great idea. I have never been one to adventure into looking at blogs and now I may be addicted!!

  123. I love Amy’s BOM – she is great!! I am learning alot! And I love this blog crawl – I have many new blogs to follow now!

  124. I’m not currently working on any BOM’s. I need to finish some of my WIP’s first.

  125. I’m not working on any BOM’s right now (too many other projects!). Thanks for sharing about Amy’s BOM course – I hadn’t seen it before and it looks like something I’ll want to do eventually.

  126. This year I am going to work on my Craftsy BOM with Amy Gibson and hopefully catch up on the BOM at my local patchwork shop too. I have everything I need – I just need to get started. Now to work out how to follow you on craftsy!

  127. Wow – I’m enjoying the tour, so thank you for your blog post. At present I’m gearing up to make my blocks for the Craftsy BOM with Amy Gibson and I’m going to embarck on a BOM with my local patchwork store too!

  128. I am currently working on the It Just Takes Two BOM. It is more like 10 blocks per month and I am struggling to keepup. But I am enjoying it too.

thanks for the chance to the the gift certificate for fabric.

  129. I wasn’t even aware of Craftsy… so thank you, Amy! I will be checking it out.
I’ve never participated in a BOM club. Sounds like fun.

  130. I’m not working on a BOM right now. The one on Craftsy is tempting though.

    I followed you on Craftsy.

  131. Yes, I am doing Craftsy BOM and am really enjoying it. Love your blog and all the people I get to “meet” through it and your projects!I am following you on Craftsy. Thanks for the giveaway!

  132. I’m currently working on the Craftsy BOM program. I have also signed up for Fat Quarter Shop’s Designer Mystery BOM. I cannot WAIT for it to start. June is such a very long way off. :(

  133. i don’t have any BOM projects… haven’t actually heard of that before? i do have other projects on the go though such as crayon rolls and toddler belts

  134. I’m not working on any BOM projects. I wanted to, but I guess I just chickened out. I just finished my 1st QAL, so I’m happy about that atleast.

  135. I’m not currently participating in any BOMs, but I am working on several smaller projects including clutches, coin purses and notebooks.

  136. I am participating in Amy’s BOM on Craftsy. I really don’t have a quilt shop close to my home that has offered a reasonably priced BOM project. I have followed along on an on-line mystery BOM. I currently have 7 quilt sandwiches ready to be quilted. They include 3 wall hangings, 1 table topper, 2 lap quilts, and 1 full size quilt. Before I finish any of those, I need to make a baby quilt for a June baby.

  137. I’m currently making a Dresden Plate quilt for this coming Christmas, following the Bunny Hill Scrappy Plate Club with Anne Sutton. It’s so much fun!!!

  138. I signed up for the Craftsy class you wrote about in your post! I am working on April-Mae’s BOM over on Making Ends Meet. I also check in on Jenni’s HST BOM–but haven’t started it yet. I am also participating in the Oh my Stars quilt along.

  139. I am participating in the Craftsy BOM :D I like the blocks but like you U need to make them! :D

  140. You know, I have so many things started and nothing accomplished. I had such big plans for this year, right down to doing a “day planner”. Oops, it didn’t work out for me! But in light of what has happened in my life the last few weeks, there is about to be a big change in a lot of things. I must take control before I lose control of everything. Read my blog later this week for insight into what has gone on.

  141. yes I am following you on craftsy . It looks like a great web site. I have been following along with the BOM there in spirit, I have wanted to make the blocks but have not started yet.

I have been following along with you on your blog for a while and would love for you to make a visit to the girlfriend gap. I have a few sewing projects posted.

thanks for a chance to win some goodies.

  142. I’m not doing any BOM’s right now… not enough time and I’d like to get my quilting basics down first as I’m a newbie quilter. :)

  143. I am not doing any block of the month at this time, but am thinking about participating in the jelly roll mystery at the JRQ website. I have several projects that need to be finished up as well. janita
