  1. I am going to put a binding on a table runner I have made. I plan to make several place mats to go with it and would love to start those also, but my main goal is to finish the table runner first.

  2. Oh I have such a long list for this week, but my goal is to get my mum’s mother’s day present planned out and cut out (I’ll not jinx myself with ‘and sewn together’ too!)

  3. My challenge for the week is to sort out a present for my sister in-law which my hubby failed to do for her birthday A FORTNIGHT AGO.

The mission: to make a cute bag and fill with goodies!

I just wish Hubby had told me earlier that he was struggling to find something for his sister. I love organising pressies!! :oD

  4. Just the motivation I need! I want to applique a table runner (that was pre-purchased) with “Happy Birthday” and other goodies on it. I also would love to get my St. Patrick’s Day Outdoor Pillows done. Hopefully I will have 1 of these projects done by Monday!

  5. I have 50 rows left in a sweater I am working on for me. I am planning on finishing it, sewing in the loose ends, and blocking it this upcoming weekend.

  6. I really need this challenge right now! I haven’t done any “fun” sewing in quite awhile! My OTOW goal is…..I’m not sure! LOL
I have 2 March projects that I want to get done this week….dishtowels and a 12″ St Patrick’s Day block. Hopefully, I’ll get to both, but as long as I get one done I’ll consider it a good week :) Thanks Amy!

  7. I made a postage stamp style topper for my clothes dryer and liked it so much that I am going to make one for the top of my wooden laundry hamper. I am determined to make it this week.

  8. I bought a twister template this past weekend. I started the quilt top. I would love to finish the mini quilt this week. I would also like to start cutting some fabric for the wedding surprise quilt I am making. Here’s to a productive week…. :)

  9. Ok…this catch up week. I am behind three months in a BOM, and there are two blocks for each month…I have to catch up or this will become just another UFO…so that is Six blocks! I have time………lol

  10. You know how much I love your challenges so I am definately in! I have a ton of stuff that needs to be done but 1 thing I really WANT to do is make a pouch with one of the lovely fq’s I won from the last challenge (thank you!). Hope your Monday starts your week out right! Smiles~Beth

  11. I pieced a bargello wall-hanging-size quilt in a class in 2005. Then I went back to working full-time and stopped quilting. Now that we’ve moved and I’m only working part-time, I want to return to quilting. My goal for this week is to finish machine quilting this project.

  12. I need to get a top quilted for our local show in 2 weeks. I think I will try renting time on a longarm at my local quilt shop. Thanks for the challenge!=)

  13. My goal is to get the trees, grass, and flowers fused to my PTQ Challenge. That doesn’t sound like much, but before I fuse those down I want to do some stitching around the “mansions.”

  14. My goal for this week is to finish 4 basket blocks. I have some of it cut out and 1 block almost done. Thanks for challenging
me Amy. Sometimes a little push helps me get things done.

  15. Quilting – finish the 24 blocks I have left in the Oh My Stars QAL and start putting the quilt top together.
Knitting – finish my mom’s cardigan.
Thanks for the challenge. I needed the motivation.

  16. My machine is in the shop, but I’m heading to my parent’s home this weekend, so maybe I’ll “steal” my mom’s machine for the afternoon and get my 2 Granny squares pieced. :) Thanks for the challenge.

  17. I want to get Thank You gifts sewn (zippered pouches) for 2 very talented ladies from my guild who helped me photograph and edit pictures of a very large quilt. I have a deadline and this challenge is just the motivation to get a move on! Thanks also for dangling those fabric and thread motivators out there!!!

  18. I have my Stars and Stripes Americana quilt I need to complete as a store sample for a class I am teaching in May including writing up the pattern. It might be a few late nights :)

  19. I’m working on a mini quilt that is almost ready for quilting. I want to finish the whole thing this week. Even with my twin three month olds, I know I can do it if I can just get off the computer while they take their naps!

  20. This week my goal is to finish some accessories to make a business trip next week a little easier. I would like to finish 2 zippered pouches for my new purse and a cover for my iPad.

  21. Our quilt ministry received a massive thread donation that needs to be inventoried and sorted – I’m talking in excess of 1000 spools of really good thread! So that’s my one thing for this week…..

  22. I like this challenge! I heard about it on another blog and just have to join in. My one thing for the week is to finish up my swap items for the For the Love of Solids swap.

  23. What a great Challenge!! I’d like to get caught up on some blocks on my to-do list. I’ve got two to do for my do.Good stitches group and two QAL blocks I need to catch up on for the Sew.Happy.Geek. QAL.

  24. I have SO many things I should get done it is hard to decide what to pick!

My goal is to quilt and bind my LUSH wall quilt.

    Thanks for the push!

  25. I know it will sound funny, but I really need a narrow pincushion (my lovely plump one very often falls off my table when I sew big pieces and I’m going to piece a rather big quilt backing this weekend). I’ve been thinking about something Zakka style for ages and I hope this challenge will finally motivate me.

  26. Hmmm, this is going to be difficult because I need my husband’s help (to view CDs with me and tell me the instructions — I’m deaf and they’re not CC’d). Anyway, my big goal would be to make the leaders for the “long arm” quilt frame.

My tiny goal would be to finish making the flying geese charm square samples. I hope to get those done tonight. :-)

  27. working on sylvia’s bridal sampler pieces–aim is to get at least 20 done each week. also need to finish starry night alternate blocks for the four (what was i thinking?) of those quilts. like being challenged!! your new blog look is very nice

  28. Hi Amy,
Thanks so much for posting this challenge! I have the brim of my son’s hat to finish knitting. It’s a small thing, so I don’t know why I’ve put it off for months. So here I go! Finish by the end of the week.
    Betsy Pratt

  29. My goals include quilting the sewing machine cover that is currently pinned on the longarm, and finishing the last block in the Sew Happy Geek QAL.

I also hope I can get my daughter to start her quilt that she wants to make for her teacher

  30. thanks for that little extra push. some days after work I just want to sit & read so this will help get me going!
my goal this week is to finish quilting & then bind my Sparkle quilt. :)

  31. ok, i am being realistic… i want to finish the baby quilt and i want to finish two pillow covers… i think it is doable… at least the baby quilt!

  33. Fun challenge! I’m going to finish the first two lines of a small 4-line cross stitch pattern. It’s my first time doing cross stitch, so I’m excited to work on it every day for this challenge :)

  34. OH–I have been wanting to get some of that Hometown fabric! What a great motivation!!!! Hmmmm one thing…I really want to get the rest of my largest stars cut out for my “Oh my stars” QA quilt. Also, I would like to sew at least one block a day…either from my stars quilt, or my Scrap picnic quilt. (that is a leaders/enders quilt)

I would like to shoot for so much more–but with the next two days in the high 50′s and 60′s for us, I really need to get some major yard work done…which really cuts into sewing time! :( Luckily, I have fun new lime green and white polka dot boots to wear!!! :)

  35. I would like to finish my mother-in-laws quilt Top I have been working on since Nov. I’m about 3/4 done so I’m hoping to push myself to complete it.
