Moments
I’m so excited for Bloggers’ Quilt Festival to start this Friday! All the details are coming together, and I just need to write the post! In light of all those details, and the busy birthday/mother’s day weekend, I have a few moments to share in pictures.
Our birthday girl, had a fabulous weekend, complete with an Avenger’s date with daddy, pizza and movie night with friends, and a Kindle from the grandparents! Her cake really was the icing on top!
We attempted to make a kindle cover, but I failed to enough to add enough seam allowance.
Yesterday I managed to match up the last couple of pieces to my blocks, now I just need an hour or so to sit and sew. Maybe today?

Giggle! Ya mean I’m not the only one that does that? LOL (The seam allowance, I mean)
Don’t ya just hate it when seam allowances get left by the wayside… Ranks right up there with my personal favorite… sewing without bobbin thread… grrrrr :o)

Sounds like a great weekend! Hope you got that hour to sew those cute blocks up. I am working on the binding for my BQF quilt every spare minute I have so it will be ready for Friday (well, except for the few minutes it took me to visit here!). Smiles~Beth
I can’t tell you how excited I am about the festival! i discovered it last year and was totally gobsmacked by all the quilts. So happy to be able to participate this time. Hope I can link up properly . Thanks
Your girlie is getting so grown up. Sounds like she had a wonderful birthday.
I did the same seam allowance thing on an underskirt for a bridesmaids dress for my daughter…luckily I could undo the french seams and give her a little more wiggle room :)
