Craftsy Workshop & Pattern Sale

Posted on July 5th, by Amy in craftsy, finished quilt. 5 comments

I hope my stateside friends had a fun and safe 4th of July! We had a relaxed day, full of fun here!  I’ve been waiting to share my newest Craftsy Workshop with you - Quilting With Linen!  I used 100% linen to make this manly quilt.

In the workshop, I included best practices while using linen in a quilt, and some tips that made the project come together smoothly.

I quilted it lightly with straight lines, I wanted it to still be comfortable and fluid as that is one of the best parts of quilting with linen.

It’s so comfortable and has a great weight to it – it’s been a favorite on the couch lately!  I hope you’ll join me over on Craftsy!

Also, I’ve marked my patterns down through the weekend. Get sewing immediately with instant downloads!

Happy quilting ~

Amy

  1. such a nice quilt…one day i will venture to use linen…i know my husband would love this quilt because of the “manly” pattern but also because he loves his linen shirts, so how could he not love a linen quilt??!!! beautiful job!!

  2. I’ve been looking for a manly quilt to make for my man. I was thinking about doing your ‘basic puzzle’ but I think this this one would suit better–it’s more muted. Thanks for creating and sharing!
