Free Weekend
I love my family! Joe decided this last weekend would be a good one to go camping. My schedule (of deadlines) is such that I wasn’t free enough to join them, so he and the kids had fun without me!
Unfortunately, the weather was rather gloomy, and it rained a lot. Thankfully they all had lots of layers and warm clothes, at 9500+ feet it’s cool up in the mountains, especially with the rain.
It was a great free weekend for me to power through some sewing, and spread out around the house as much as I needed to.
How was your weekend?
Today I’ll be catching up on laundry, and sewing more.

I betcha everybody had fun! Whoo hooo, I would love to have whole day, much less a weekend, to sew….I still love my family, I just have things to get finished up! LOL
I bet you all had a blast! I adore spending time with my family, but when my husband takes the kids for a day it’s a delight. I need to convince my husband that he likes camping, so he can take the kids when they get older!
Well mine was no way near as good as yours or theirs!
Oh I just love those kinds of weekends free to myself. I feel your joy. And I’m sure they all had fun too even in the rain.
What a lovely husband & father! And it’s weekends like this that will provide so many sweet memories for your children as they grow up – I know because my dad used to take us when we were kids.
