One Thing, One Week Challenge :: Link Up 16

Posted on September 10th, by Amy in Challenge Week. 10 comments

Time to show off your finished goal!  I’m looking forward to seeing all that you accomplished.

Today we link up and show off what we got done. If you haven’t already, go post about it on your blog (or flickr) and come back to link up with your permalink here –  (please only add your link if you added your goal to the comments last week).

For my goal, I made lots of progress, but haven’t quite finished the quilt top (about 2/3 finished).

I’ll be finishing it up this week still and plan to post better images then – I’m really happy with it, and excited to finish it up!

If you met your goal, you will be entered to win a copy of  The Rose of Sharon Block Book.

This book is full of beautiful applique blocks, and instructions for the novice to experienced quilter.  I love how simple geometric shapes can be transformed into stunning blocks – definitely a book to check out if you haven’t yet!

Don’t forget to cheer each other on!   I’ll leave the linky open for two days, and announce a winner on Wednesday.

Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!

One Thing, One Week Challenge is a monthly challenge, beginning the first Monday of each month.  Join us!

First I spent all morning trying (unsuccessfully) to get this page to load.

Now it’s loading, but it won’t let me add my link because I don’t have a “backlink” to this site and must make one.

But it doesn’t tell me what that is or how to make one.

After I do a linky, I always edit my post that I linked–but I always do it after since linkys don’t work on a regular basis. But I don’t know what a backlink is.

Why is this so hard today?! I have never had these problems on here before. Other blogs yes, but not this one.

Sorry for the frustration! A backlink is that link in your post to my blog – it will work once you’ve added that in.

GoDaddy was hacked today, and my site was one of millions down while they scrambled to correct the issues – yuck!

I am having the same problem as Dree. I tried it twice 8 hours ago and now. It is driving me up a wall. I am new to this stuff and I really don’t get it. I watched the videos on inlinkz and everything…ugh!

Sorry Heather! I can’t see your blog, to help troubleshoot, I think it’s misspelled in the link field? My guess is that you need to add a link to my blog in your post, then try again. It’s open tomorrow too, I hope you have a chance to try again!
