Prep Day!

Posted on October 4th, by Amy in The Sewing Summit, work in progress. 4 comments

Yesterday I cut and prepped fabric for three projects!

Fabrics for my Sewing Summit class arrived earlier this week, and so I need to make a sample!  All the blocks are cut, and ready to sew.  Fabrics are “Handle with Care” for Robert Kaufman – super cute!

I need to make a bunting for a mixer at Sewing Summit – the Salt Lake City Modern Quilt Guild is hosting an evening of fun, and a few of us were asked to make buntings to personalize the restaurant space. I cut the pieces from a Sassy Layer Cake. Fun times!

Finally, I cut all the pieces for this dress – for myself – I haven’t sewn a dress for myself in years! The pattern is Simplicity 1800, and the fabric is by Victoria & Albert Museum, Bromley Ikat for Westminster.

I also finished picking out the quilting that I needed to, and hope to get back to quilting.

I’m hoping for a SUPER productive day today – I hope you have a great day too!

Amy

  1. Thanks for the strategies you are sharing on this website. Another thing I want to say is that getting hold of duplicates of your credit file in order to inspect accuracy of any detail would be the first measures you have to conduct in repairing credit. You are looking to cleanse your credit file from damaging details faults that spoil your credit score.
