Blogger’s Quilt Festival :: Fall 2012
Welcome to the Fall Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I’m delighted that you have come to share inspiration and be inspired!
The Festival is open to anyone that would like to participate no matter how long you’ve been quilting or how many quilts you have finished. The story of each quilt often relates quilters to one another, and is an important aspect of our Festival! I hope you take the time to write about how your entry quilt came to be and why it is important for you to share it. Likewise, I hope you enjoy reading about the quilts others’ have entered!
Like in the spring, we have categories to consider and nominate favorite quilts in.
The schedule of events is this :

My daughter Kelli and I have two quilts in the book. We sent them out a LONG time ago. In fact, a year ago we put the final stitches in the binding and sent them to be put in the book. My calendar year starts with the day after the blogger’s quilt festival, as I start deciding what I will prepare for the next festival. It’s the semi-annual climax!
Our oldest daughter got engaged to be married 5 weeks ago, and you’ll never guess what day they decided to be married . . . Oct. 26!! Yip, a 5 week engagement, our first daughter getting married, I still kept those priorities straight! #14, yip, that’s me!
I am loving all of the quilts displayed so far! My first time entering to win but I’ve played along before prizes were given :) Thanks for the chance to see & play!

Phew! I made it. We’ve been without power since Hurricane Sandy blew through. I’m sitting in a Staples store, using their hotspot! I couldn’t see a place to specify which category our quilts should be. My entry, #565, should go in the group category, as it was made by the girls in my girl scout troop. Thanks for everything, Amy!

My daughter Kelli and I have two quilts in the book. We sent them out a LONG time ago. In fact, a year ago we put the final stitches in the binding and sent them to be put in the book. My calendar year starts with the day after the blogger’s quilt festival, as I start deciding what I will prepare for the next festival. It’s the semi-annual climax!
Our oldest daughter got engaged to be married 5 weeks ago, and you’ll never guess what day they decided to be married . . . Oct. 26!! Yip, a 5 week engagement, our first daughter getting married, I still kept those priorities straight! #14, yip, that’s me!

Phew! I made it. We’ve been without power since Hurricane Sandy blew through. I’m sitting in a Staples store, using their hotspot! I couldn’t see a place to specify which category our quilts should be. My entry, #565, should go in the group category, as it was made by the girls in my girl scout troop. Thanks for everything, Amy!
