Techno Flakes

Another finished quilt to share with you today!

You’ve seen me working on this quilt over the last couple of months, and I’m so happy to have it finished up!

I quilted the white hexagons only, with a swirl, then continued with the same shape on the background.  The hexagons almost disappear around the perimeter, and the colorful shapes pop!  I bound it in gray to frame all the white, but not take away from the hand piecing.

I loved working on this piece, it measures 31″ x 42″.  I washed it in warm water then blocked it on the floor to avoid odd shrinkage – with the background quilted so densely, and the excess fabric in the hexies, I didn’t want to risk it!  I don’t have any plans for my next EPP project, but I’m thinking it will be a little smaller, pillow cover or bag maybe…I’ll let you know when I figure it out!

Thanks for reading -

Amy
