B is for Brayden

Baby quilts are always the most fun to sew up and give to the growing family!  A few friends and I got together and had fun scheming a baby quilt for Natalia, and her boy Brayden!

This is the part that I pieced – Candy dyed the beautiful fabrics, then shipped to me and Amy.  I finished and shipped my piece to Amy, and she pieced the remainder of the top, then shipped to Rita.

Rita added applique, then shipped to Vicki.  Vicki did all the quilting and bound it, then shipped it back to me ready to give!

Since Natalia is nearby, it was really fun to be there when she opened it up!

Thanks for stopping by!

PS – If you look at all the pictures, you’ll notice it is a small version of one of the quilts in Modern Basics -

  1. I love baby quilts. And my dearest cousin is now expecting after trying for so long. I think I will definitely be making one for her : )
    Thanks for sharing!

  2. This was the perfect pattern for a baby quilt Amy! And…you did a great job of taking pix that show the true color/texture of the fabric – that blue/purple color is hard to capture!

  3. Natalia says:

I love it! Thanks again! :)
