Doing
There’s always lots of little things to be doing, I’m so glad that yesterday’s sewing time (thou little) was spent doing something that I hope, will offer comfort.

In case you missed this info in my last post;
Pillowcases can be mailed to:
Quilters Corner, 312 Danbury Rd, New Milford, CT. 06776

Other doing?
I’ve been teaching my girls to cross-stitch, and loving the bits of bonding we are sharing over thread. I found these kits locally, and we’ve swapped out the thread for Aurifil colors that I had on hand already. 12wt is so nice to stitch with!
Today, I need to work out teacher gifts, quickly. Tomorrow is the last day of school before the break!
Blessings to you,
Amy

I hope to find a little time to whip up a couple of pillowcases my self soon. Love the cross stitch. I’ve been doing that since I was very young. I can’t wait until my little ones are big enough to learn it.
I hope you don’t mind, but I sent your information pertaining to the pillowcases to a small quilting group that I belong to online. I am hoping your contribution of mentioning this generates lots of pillowcases.

I haven’t thought about using sewing thread for cross stitching or embroidery. I’m not familiar with Aurofill…is that thread weight a hand quilting weight?
