Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend – ours was relaxed with a sick boy, and a touch of spring in the air.  Sunday afternoon, I realized that I had a couple hours of free time, AND my deadline for this week is as far as I could get it.  Yay!  I pulled my Asbury charm pack from my Quiltcon swag, and found some solids to mix with it.

In about an hour of sewing time I had a vibrant, and fun table runner top for our kitchen table!

I could have pulled a rainbow of solids to mix with the prints, but decided to stay in the yellow/green family to let the other colors stand out a little more.

I’m pretty pleased with the results, and can’t wait for my first opportunity to quilt and bind it!
