Waves is a soothing, graphic quilt! Made with a variety of prints, to add interest and fun.

Waves measures 60″ x 72″.

Pieced by Amy Smart at Diary of a Quilter!

Quilted by Natalia Bonner - with all the quilts in Modern Neutrals, I asked Natalia to keep it simple, no frills, and I love the results!

Fabrics used in Modern Neutrals were supplied by AdornItAndoverCloud 9Dear StellaModaRiley Blake,Robert Kaufman, and Windham - Many thanks to my friends at each of these companies. I shared about my fabric selection and classification process in this post.

I love how the placement of the different fabrics creates a sense of distinct but incomplete regularity. And I normally shy away from realistic images in sewing projects, but the ocean-y colors are stunning. I’m a total sucker for blue and brown.

Do you know Kollabora.com, the crafting community? I’m always excited to find crafters who also have serious design skills, and I think the other members would find your work exciting as well.
