Hi friends! Since wrapping up Blogger’s Quilt Festival, I’ve been sewing non-stop. I have a book due in January, and with the holidays nearly here, I’m rushing to finish as much as I can now! Like, all of the piecing.

The way I tend to work, takes over the kitchen table, and I would love to be done setting up and putting away (daily) for a month, while I quilt everything downstairs.

It’s a lot of work, but I always enjoy the bits of frantic energy!

Even if I do question my decision when it’s time to trim things up. It’s not always perfect but it is getting done!

Small Town Quilt Show - AmysCreativeSide.com

Next June I will be teaching at the Small Town Quilt Show, right here in my little valley! High Valley Arts Foundation is sponsoring the event at the Zermatt, which is a beautiful venue.

Modern Neutrals - AmysCreativeSide.com

I hope you will consider joining me for “A Study of Neutrals” and my Whispered Lace pattern from the cover of Modern Neutrals. I’m planning to talk about incorporating warm and cool neutrals in the same quilt, and get everyone started on their own beautiful quilt. It’s a three-hour class, and it will be packed with info, and inspiration! But truly, all the classes will be fantastic!

With that I’m back to the sewing machine!

More soon –
