Small Town Quilt Show. . . In a Big Town Way

Top 5 things to remember to do before sending your quilt to a long-arm quilter

- Send your backing

- Include your information with the quilt

- 4″ larger batting and backing, than quilt top

- Mark top of quilt top/back if you would like it specifically done

- Press whichever way makes you happy

Watch your borders, so that they don’t wave at your quilter!

Do you think computerized quilting is cheating?

Visit Natalia’s blog for lots of inspiration! Also digitized quilting and embroidery patterns are available here.

I pin lots of great quilting inspiration here.

  2. FOUND the problems I subscribed to AMY’s Creative Side and this episode is under Quilt Cast so it came up in a new category. Some other listeners might have the same issue.

  3. Can you discuss MAILING QUILT, QUILT TOPS in the mail.. how to pack them up, what works and what does not…never mailed a quilt but need to in the near future. Natalia can have input into this as she talked about getting quilt tops mailed to her.

Looking forward to discussion about the scrap / stash quilts.
