Every time I make it back to my computer, I am wowed by the additions to the linky! You guys are amazing!
I love the variety of quilts, and each post I’ve read has been inspirational. Thank you all for the effort and thought you have put into your entries!
How far have you made it through the list?
I’ve taken a random approach, personally, as I have a chance to sit for a minute or two. I have hopes of sitting down and clicking through the majority of them soon!
Do you have a favorite yet?
I can’t say if I do, but Kendra made a smart suggestion for us. We should add our entry numbers to our BQF Stats, in our post, to help keep track of favorites, and … Read More »

Button Box Quilt
I’m so happy to have a new finish to share with you for Blogger’s Quilt Festival! My Button Box quilt is a variation of a quilt I made last spring, with a twist. I loved pulling fabrics from my stash/scraps for this project, and reminisced where each had been used in previous projects. Some in very different projects, and others had been waiting for this one! While I was selecting fabrics, I tried to use mostly fabrics with the same saturation, or intensity. The few exceptions offer a resting place for your eye in the … Read More »

About a month ago, I received a charm pack of Bella, by Lotta Jansdotter. While trying to think up a clever project for the fabric, I was busy making preparations for BQF, and all the usual happenings in our family. I never put that charm pack away though! I didn’t want to forget about it! Out of sight, out of mind…
Finally, inspiration struck and I pulled a few coordinating solids. Within a few hours, I had a new table runner!
I love the organic feel … Read More »

My Festival Post
I am so excited to see everyone turn out again for Bloggers’ Quilt Festival! It’s been a pleasure to watch all the quilts pour in on the linky. The linky will be open just a couple more days, hopefully everyone that wants to, will have a chance to link up!
My entry is my recent finish – Burst of Spring.
I’ve developed a love of flying geese, and found myself drawing different blocks all with flying geese, this one had to be made! I was asked to develop a pattern for Blend Fabrics, with Spring Promise fabrics, and I knew that it was a match. The soft floral fabrics each take a turn being the center of attention in the star, with the white print background setting them off.
Have you tried making … Read More »
