Have you noticed? There’s a new fabric shop online! Cathy at Wondrous Woven Fabrics is hoping to inspire your next project.
I asked Cathy to share a little bit about her shop and herself~
Wondrous Woven Fabrics is a shop for beautiful and inspiring fabrics and patterns. It is my hope that people will be able to find fabrics they are looking for and know they love, along with some new fabrics to love that they may not have seen before. I’m setting on a new path, I hope you will join me! I have a pattern to offer you and I hope to have more in the coming months too. This is a quilt that I originally designed to use my scraps from another project. I call it Simple Times -
This is a small lap quilt, 52″ x 52″ and can be made with a layer cake (10″ squares) and charm pack (5″ squares) or yardage of your choice. Instructions for cutting and piecing the quilt top are included for both.
I pieced this top with Oz fabrics, and I love the bright colors! I had two friends test it, Amber did a scrappy version, and Heather made her’s in Blush. I hope that you … Read More »
This roman shade project has been on my list since we painted the living room in January! I purchased fabric in February, and finally collected all the bits and pieces needed to make it. I had to let my ideas fully form, before I was ready to cut (some may call this procrastination!), but I decided I’m ready. Last night I got all my pieces cut, and today I hope to get the sewing done.
When we get them mounted, I will show you our living room :)—–The Blush Layer Cake goes to — #284
Congratulations Julie!! I would love to see what you make with this.

I’m feeling a bit scattered! I have lots of things that NEED to get done and a few that I really want to get done – isn’t that how it usually goes? I had a couple of hours to myself Friday evening and decided to cut into some fabric for this bag -
The fabrics are Amy Butler Love, and I love it! Sadly my machine has been overused in the last 6 months, and needs a tune-up. I have no problem piecing, but multiple layers of fabric and interfacing – not happening. So that’s going back on the bottom of the list, until I can part with my machine long enough to have it serviced. Just imagine no pins holding the lining in place and that polka dot strap attached on the sides :)
This is the big news in the … Read More »
