Hi friends! I love seeing all the quilts you have entered in the Festival! If you haven’t entered yet, there’s still time! Visit this post and select a category your quilt falls into, and link up. Also, there have been lots of nominations, but there’s always room for more – select a favorite from all the categories to nominate for Viewer’s Choice. I will sort through all the nominations over the weekend, and then we vote for our top three favorites!
I had a great Market experience with a full schoolhouse, and four signings giving me a chance to chat with a number of shop owners and fans. I’m still in recovery and catch up mode around the house, but today I’m planning to ignore the laundry and enjoy my birthday! I think I will pull out my Dancing Stars blocks … Read More »
I say “a little” because I know there are far more comprehensive posts, but here’s what caught my eye while I had my camera in hand. There’s so much to look at, and honestly my camera is often forgotten, despite my usual tendencies to photograph everything!

Last week while finalizing details for BQF, I was also making plans to be at Market. I’ve got a few irons in the fire, and once Sewing Summit was over I realized that I should be at Market to further develop relationships within the community there, and help sell my book! It was a great weekend, and over the next few months I will be able to share a bit more as things progress. For now – I have a bunch of pictures with blog friends :

I have a few things to share with you today.
First, I contributed to a collaborative book – Modern Blocks!
I submitted 2 blocks, and they were both included. This book will be available via Stash books this fall, and I’m looking forward to the advance copy coming later this summer!
Next, while at Market, I was invited to chat with Annie Smith from Quilting Stash!
The podcast is available today, go listen and learn how you can win a copy of Modern Basics!
Finally, I want to share about Quilts Recover -
From Cheryl :

Thank you for your birthday wishes! I’m so blessed to be surrounded by my family and doing what I love! I have a collection of pictures to share with you, first up – Press!
I was interviewed, along with a number of others, last weekend at Market, by a local paper the Deseret News! Those are my quilts there in color in the second section of the paper – humbling! If you would like to read the article it is available here. Over the course of the weekend I also found that Quilter’s Home reviewed Modern Basics (positively!) and it was included in the June/July issue!
Now for the picture onslaught – ready?
I realize that I mention Natalia here a lot, but there hasn’t been a picture of us together – until … Read More »
