Professional Quilting
I go back and forth. Sometimes I quilt my own quilts, sometimes I take them to Natalia.
I always LOVE the results when Natalia has been involved. This is the back of a quilt, that I cannot show entirely yet, but really wanted to share the fabulous quilting!
What do you think? Have you had many quilts professionally quilted?
I find the size of my machine is restricting my imagination, when it comes to quilting, especially when it comes to quilting larger quilts. Maybe I just need to be more imaginative, in a different way…something to think on!
Hope you are blessed today-
Amy
PS – It’s May already!? My to do list has a serious deadline…
September Snow!
Over last weekend I took a few pictures of the fall colors on the mountain side – I love this time of year! I’m so glad I got to take them because today it’s snowing, and most of the leaves will probably be gone. These pics have a date stamp on them – I don’t know how to take them off of the little camera :(We are having spaghetti and homemade bread for dinner! The perfect finish for a cold day :)
I hope you are warm and loved where you are~Amy

Our Weekend
It’s been busy here! My sister came to visit with a friend and stayed at a hotel in Park City – that means pool time for the kiddos! And Joe took the long weekend off to go backpacking up in the Uinta Mountains. Now that we have settled down again – back to our routines – I can tell you about it :)
This is my favorite picture that Joe brought back – so much beauty up there! He went with his Dad and brother Zach (who spends a lot of the weekends here) so the three of them enjoyed hiking and being in the great outdoors.
Some fun shots of the girls at the park with Aunt Natalie –and lounging around here at the house.
Owen is very serious with new people – we were glad when he … Read More »
30 : : I’m Crocheting!
Just barely! So far I’ve learned dc, tr, and dtr – I figure abbreviated or not, they won’t make sense unless you crochet too! The yarn was given to me by Amy – isn’t it beautiful? Anyone have a good online resource for learning?
Thanks!Amy—————————————-

27 : : Mondays are for weekend recovery!
At least, that’s how today has been for me! I missed a day of posting – oh well :) Our weekend was full of friends and family, lots of driving, and not enough sleep! I don’t have pictures of the weekend but this lavender has been growing beautifully and I wanted to share.
I’ve also been hanging out on flickr a lot with the zig-zag quilt-along – lots of cute quilts coming soon! And I got feedback from my testers about this bag – I’m hoping that I can finalize and publish the pattern this week.
I’m looking forward to July being over – I’ve missed writing here more!
Blessings to you~Amy
