Hi friends! Since wrapping up Blogger’s Quilt Festival, I’ve been sewing non-stop. I have a book due in January, and with the holidays nearly here, I’m rushing to finish as much as I can now! Like, all of the piecing.
The way I tend to work, takes over the kitchen table, and I would love to be done setting up and putting away (daily) for a month, while I quilt everything downstairs.
It’s a lot of work, but I always enjoy the bits of frantic energy!
Even if I do question my decision when it’s time to trim things up. It’s not always perfect but it is getting done!
Next June I will be teaching at the Small Town Quilt Show, right here in my little valley! High Valley … Read More »
Hi there! I’ve mostly caught up on sleep and emails since being gone for the weekend – and want to share a few quilts and highlights from Quiltcon with you! My roomie April, and I had fun checking out Austin after the full days of classes and lectures. Here’s a few of the quilts that were hanging, check out the Modern Quilt Guild site for more pictures soon.

Hi there! I had a fantastic weekend with family in Oregon, and we had the pleasure of taking in the sights in Sister’s. With all the pictures I want to share, I decided to put them all in a slide show, click to start!
The show was spread out all over the storefronts, in the stores, and on the exterior of buildings. Wherever space could be found! Everywhere we looked there were more quilts! I hope you enjoyed the show from your chair!
If you would like to view each picture independently, I have a set on flickr as well. Go poke around, let me know which ones you love too!
PS – I will have a iPad/Laptop case tutorial available shortly – I have some math to do, and I need to make another one too. Thanks for your response!
